Shamontiel – when I first started reading your message I thought I was in trouble. My panicked imagination envisioned a humbled realization that Angela Simmons won an Oscar for best-supporting actress in 2002 or 6 Olympic gold medals fro swimming in 2004. But, it wound up not being so bad. I missed out on “Run’s House” and “Daddy’s Girls” and I wasn’t familiar with Pastry shoes. But, I am now! Everyone has to find out who Angela Simmons is at some point in their life right? I’m just a little late, that’s all Thanks so much for leaving the comment and increasing my pop culture knowledge! Oh, and I agree with you on the “who am I to judge” front. As long as it’s not obscene, people can wear whatever word they want on their hindquarters! Although, if Angela is an abstinence practitioner then perhaps “NO” would have been better.

I don’t know what’s blowing me more, the fact that you didn’t know who Angela Simmons was or those pants. Angela Simmons and her sister Vanessa Simmons have been on MTV’s popular show “Run’s House” (the reality show for Reverend Run) and the spin-off “Daddy’s Girls,” in addition to being the co-founder of Pastry gymshoes for ladies. As for those parents, it just seems weird to be worn on a woman who practices abstinence and tries to leave the whole pure lifestyle, but hey, if she likes it, who am I to judge?
