During last night’s episode of Teen Mom 3, Alex Sekella got some major ink on her right shoulder.
The young mom explained to a friend she originally planned to get the flourished tattoo of her daughter’s name and footprint with Arabella’s father, Matt McCann… But changed her mind after their massive falling out.
“I’m happy he’s not because it’s something special to me and I don’t need him ruining it,” Alex told her friend while getting the ink at Steel City Tattoo.
Midway through, Alex got dizzy and passed out in her seat. The tattoo artist calmly asked for a co-worker to bring smelling salts and Alex slowly came to.
“I’m not leaving with a half-finished tattoo,” the revived Alex said as the tattoo artist finished his job.
Later on in the show, Alex met up with her grandparents for dinner and had to explain why she decided to get the tattoo.
“I always wanted one,” she said. “I didn’t want to get something stupid and meaningless.”
She then showed them her tattoo and her grandpa adorably started pulling her leg…
“Why did this guy put his phone number on here?,” he said, pointing to Arabella’s birth date.
As Teen Mom-ologists may recall, Catelynn Lowell has a similar tattoo of her daughter’s name and footprint on her own shoulder. Tyler Baltierra also has a tattoo of Carly’s handprint and name.
