Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice may be mortal enemies but they have one thing in common: a heavy case of denial.

Melissa Gorga raised eyebrows all over the internet this week when an excerpt from her new book was leaked. A lot about the book may seem problematic to many, but the worst was her husband Joe Gorga’s passage, which reads “Men, I know you think your woman isn’t the type who wants to be taken. But trust me, she is. Every girl wants to get her hair pulled once in a while. If your wife says ‘no,’ turn her around, and rip her clothes off. She wants to be dominated. Women don’t realize how easy men are. Just give us what we want.”

When a person says “no,” and you have sex with them anyway, that’s rape, but Melissa believes it’s disgusting for anyone to think that. She told E! News “That word is so disgusting to me and that’s horrible. I don’t know how anyone can…” she trailed off. “My book is about mutual respect with your partner, for one another. It’s about honesty, it’s about loyalty, it’s about making your partner first in your life. Where that word comes into play, to me, is awful and disgusting, to be honest with you.”

Meanwhile, Joe and Teresa Giudice are speaking out about their serious 39-count federal fraud charges during a pre-taped sit-down interview with Andy Cohen on a special episode of Watch What Happens Live that airs Sunday night. Joe makes light of the situation, but Teresa breaks down and asks “why me?”

Teresa Giudice tells Andy “Maybe out of all this…I don’t know, I mean there’s like…you go through things in life, I mean I don’t know why. I’m asking like, why is this happening to me? So maybe something my daughters can learn from this is, my mom was really strong through all this, she was there for us, and I hope they always have that there with them.”

Perhaps it’s happening to her because they failed to file taxes for several years, and may be guilty of multiple counts of fraud.

The Giudices caught some flack last month for asking their fans to help donate to their legal defense fund.
