Katie Couric got engaged over the Labor Day weekend.
The TV host, whose talk show Katie returns for a 2nd season on September 9, happily accepted a proposal from her financier boyfriend of almost 2 years, John Molner.
A rep confirmed that Molner, 50, popped the question with a “spectacular diamond ring” during a Hamptons sunset.
Couric, 56, has two daughters Ellie, 21, and Carrie, 17, from her marriage to Jay Monahan who died of colon cancer in 1998.
No word yet on a date for the big day.
