59-year-old Christie Brinkley and her 27-year-old daughter Alexa Ray Joel snapped some sexy bikini pics while vacationing near Montauk, N.Y. this weekend. OK, so Christie isn’t technically wearing a bikini, but she looks pretty awesome.
The supermodel recently revealed that she felt fat back when she was doing huge modeling campaigns. “I came across an older picture of me that someone had posted on Facebook and I totally remember squirming and feeling very fat while I was shooting it,” Christie told Haute Living in June. “And I look at it now and think, I was actually really thin! How is it possible that I felt so uncomfortable in that body?”
It wasn’t just a ladies’ trip, though, Christie was joined by other family members, including her son Jack, who caught a lot of fish. Christie joked on an Instagram photo of Jack holding up a giant flounder, “Jack caught a DOORMAT!”
Christie quoted a line from Alexa’s dad Billy Joel’s song “Lullabye (Goodnight, My Angel)” next to a photo of their daughter sleeping. “Like a boat out on the ocean, I’m rocking you to sleep.”
