Contracted worker committed suicide at Olivia Netwon-John’s home

Olivia Newton-John Houseguest commits suicide

Authorities report a man has been found dead outside the South Florida home owned by Olivia Newton-John and her husband, John Easterling. Initial police reports list the cause of death as suicide, but an investigation is ongoing.

According to The Palm Beach Post, the man was a contractor at the residence, which Olivia and John were renovating before finalizing its sale to Rosie O’Donnell.

The unidentified man was found outside the home and died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Palm Beach Post reports a contractor was seen crying at the home yesterday, but it’s unclear whether it was the same person.

Neither Olivia nor her husband were at the home when the incident occurred on Monday.

Olivia, who is best-known for starring in Grease, hasn’t had much luck with her homes. She was evacuated from her Malibu-area house in 2007 when the region was overcome with wildfires.
