R&B star Rihanna has been making headlines aplenty while on her Diamonds World Tour. She’s reportedly been boozing heavily, appearing at night clubs until the wee hours of the morning and all of this hard partying is said to be causing her to arrive late to shows.
According to Radar Online, Rihanna showing up late is becoming standard operating procedure for the star and on Friday in Denmark, fans retaliated. Once she arrived to the stage, over 30 minutes late, she was greeted by boos but didn’t seem phased, telling the crowd, “I feel the love, Denmark. I don’t just say these things.”
Two nights later in Gdynia, fans chanted Beyonce’s name after Rihanna arrived 50 minutes late.
Earlier this month, Rihanna showed up to a Saturday night concert in Zurich 90 minutes late. The next night in the same town, she was 2 hours late.
Many fans who’ve become disgruntled with Rihanna’s latest antics have taken to social media where they’ve written things such as “Rihanna is the biggest waste of money ever” and “50 minutes late is a complete lack of respect to the people who came to listen to you.” In addition to her tardiness, some have even accused Rihanna of lip-syncing during shows.
Not helping Rihanna’s case is the video below in which she is being escorted out of the July 6 Kings of Leon concert by security. In the video, Rihanna appears to be intoxicated and barely able to walk.
Rihanna’s next tour date is scheduled for tonight in Vienna, Austria. I guess we’ll see what happens.
