Victoria Beckham is a hard working mother of four: Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 10, Cruz, eight and Harper, 21-month-old with a career in the fast-paced, high-pressure fashion industry. She’s said before that she makes her kids her priority, but sometimes you just have to go to work. Like many moms, Posh feels a twinge of guilt whenever she walks out the door.
“When you are successful, the hardest thing is maintaining that level of success, so you work harder to maintain what you have achieved,” she says in the latest issue of Chinese Vogue.
“It’s a huge juggling act, when you are a working mother and looking after your family. Millions and millions of women around the world are doing this every day, but it’s not easy and yes, you feel guilty every time you walk out of the door to go to work. I have been in the limelight for over 20 years. I am not on an ego trip; empowering women and making them feel sexy and great when they wear my clothes means more than thousands of people clapping. Empowering women is what makes me feel good.”
Thankfully she is getting to spend a bit more time with her hot husband David Beckham. They’ve been married for 14 years, and Entertainmentwise.com has a source saying that since David quit soccer earlier this year they’ve had a second honeymoon phase in their relationship.
“This is the first time for a long time that we’re not Mummy and Daddy, it’s like when we first started dating,” she reportedly told a friend. “It’s been a long time since we had this much fun together. I’ve got my husband back.”
She’s having so much fun she’s even smiling now!
