Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy told “stop bickering like school children” by judge in custody case

Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy told by judge to stop bickering like school children in Bryn custody battle

Bethenny Frankel and her almost ex-husband Jason Hoppy appeared in court for an emergency custody hearing regarding their daughter Bryn yesterday, and the judge was none too pleased with the couple’s constant bickering.

“The judge has made it clear to both Jason and Bethenny: This ongoing fighting and nitpicking of the most trivial of details including Jason allowing Bryn to eat junk food, has just got to stop,” a source told Radar Online. “They were told they were acting like school children, and their actions were harming their daughter.”

“Bethenny was told she needed to communicate with Jason about Bryn’s schedule, and whereabouts. She didn’t have any issue with that. She just wishes that they could come to a resolution about who will keep the apartment,” the source continues. “Both of them living under the same roof going through this divorce is just reaching a breaking point.”

Since their split, both Bethenny and Jason have refused to move out of their Tribeca apartment. The pair spent a lot of time renovating the home after buying it, making sure it was just the way they liked, so it’s understandable that they would be attached to it.

Despite their feuding over Bryn and the house, the former couple has actually made some headway in their split. According to the source, Jason is now “absolutely open to having joint custody with Bethenny.”

“Jason knows how much Bethenny loves Bryn, and he doesn’t want to deprive their little girl of her mother. It’s very hurtful to him that Bethenny still wants sole custody of Bryn,” the source adds.

If the pair can’t come to an agreement regarding Bryn’s custody in a timely manner, “a trial will take place. If Bethenny and Jason were smart, they would do everything possible to avoid a trial, because someone will lose.”
