It’s official: Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are finally divorced (almost).
Kim appeared before the court this morning in Los Angeles and the presiding judge dissolved the highly publicized marriage after a lengthy and sometimes strange battle.
When everything is added up, it looks like Kim is the one who had most of her demands met. Humphries was not present this morning. According to sources with TMZ:
-> Kris dropped his demand for an annulment based on fraud.
-> Kris gets zero money from Kim. The NBA star had previously demanded $7 mil.
-> Each party will be responsible for paying their own attorney’s fees.
-> The judge wanted to impose a fine against Humphries for his no-show during last week’s scheduled hearing, but Kim asked that this be waved and the judge obliged.
Of course there’s a catch, but at this point it’s more like a formality as the judge made sure to point out that it’s officially over when both parties sign the papers. On the same note, everything about the judge’s demeanor indicates this is a done deal. He told Kim, “Congratulations on your dissolution.”
