With all of the current Real Housewives of Atlanta drama going on – NeNe Leakes becoming the highest paid Real Housewives star of all the franchises, Porsha Stewart getting divorced from Kordell Stewart etc., you may have forgotten that Part 2 and 3 of the Reunion still have yet to air, and they’re gonna be juicy!
On Part 2 of the Season 5 Reunion, which airs this Sunday, April 14, former Real Housewife of Atlanta Kim Zolciak joins the ladies on the couch. Kim’s spin-off, Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding, was so successful that Bravo decided to give her her own show, Bethenny Frankel-style; her new show is just titled Don’t Be Tardy… Kim left The Real Housewives of Atlanta midway through the season. However, the ladies had been feeling Kim’s absence long before that. In the clip below, the ladies have a chance to confront Kim and give them a piece of her mind.
Kandi, who recently filed a lawsuit against Kim claiming she was not properly compensated for her work on Kim’s single “Don’t Be Tardy for the Party,” decided to break the ice: “Everybody is being really nice – which is nice, it’s good to be nice, but bottom line, everybody felt like you was full of it through this whole year and all of the end of last year, because you did always have an excuse,” Kandi explained. “Whenever we’d do something, you’d be like, ‘Well, I’ve been here for an hour,’ … so I think overall when it got to the time of the brunch, everybody was sick of you being able to bail out, and then we’re still having to go and -”
“Well, Kandi, a prime example is when you and I have an appointment at the nail salon and you show up two hours late. Like, I don’t have time for that,” Kim argues.
But the drama doesn’t stop there!
In an attempt to explain why she’s always so busy, Kim ends up insulting Kandi, saying, “Well, nobody’s raising my babies but me.”
“Excuse me?!” Kandi retorted, clearly offended.
Kandi sums everything up saying, “I know that everyone felt like we were held to a different standard because we’ve all talked about this.”
