We get toys with lead paint, General Tso’s chicken and really cool Olympic opening ceremonies. China gets traffic, Baywatch and modern art. No matter how you match it up that is win/win/win for the ol’ US of A!

Oh, and also toirets.

But seriously folks… This is a public park in the South China Guangdong province of Foshan. The enormous steel tata sculpture is called “Bubble Woman” and if you look closely enough you will notice there is actually a small woman attached to those things. The 10,000+ porcelain toilets form a waterfall 100 meters long and 5 meters tall, the largest sculpture to date from Chinese artist Shu Young.
In case you are artistically challenged and don’t “get it,” let me offer an expert’s opinion. Based on my own personal experiences, Shu Young appears to be trying to recreate what the world looks like to your average drunk male at a strip club. My guess is that any man that walks into this park completely drunk will see one urinal and a conservatively dressed woman in her mid-30s. Just a theory.
Here’s a video about the breast sculpture including the tragically inevitable moment when society forces Young to make a large bra to cover them up:
The fact that this is happening on the other side of the globe in a culture as distantly removed from our own as possible only confirms my theory: Boobs are awesome!
