Running a celebrity blog is 90% unpleasantness so it’s always fun to announce when the celeb stork has visited a happy couple! Actress Amy Ryan, who played the Michael-Scott-sans-testosterone character Holly Flax on The Office, and fiancé Eric Slovin welcomed a baby girl named Georgia Gracie Slovin. The little bundle of joy arrived October 15 in New York City. A rep for Ryan tells People, “All are doing well and so happy.”
Here’s a song to honor Georgia’s birth from the classic 1978 album Stardust by my spiritual guru Willie Nelson:
Though her relatively brief stint on The Office has gotten her the most exposure, it should be noted Ryan was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 2007 for her role as Helene McCready in Gone Baby Gone.
I couldn’t find any photos of an expecting Amy Ryan, so what did I do? That’s right! BIKINI PICTURES!!!
Here’s a damey Amy enjoying the beaches of Hawaii with Patricia Clarkson in June of 2006:
Bikinis, beaches, babes, babies, blogs… I feel downright cheerful! Congrats Amy and Eric!
Here are a couple great Holly Flax and Michael Scott clips from Youtube:
I was desperately looking for a video of Michael’s performance of “Good-Bye Toby” but it apparently doesn’t exist on the web. That’s OK though – we still have the BIKINIS!!!
