Some women look at pregnancy as a nine-month excuse to binge on whatever satisfies their cravings, but Kim Kardashian says she isn’t one of them! Kim is intent on eating as nutritiously as possible, both for her baby’s sake as well as for her own post-pregnancy body. She has been keeping a “Mommy Blog” for Celebuzz, and in a recent entry entitled “Staying Healthy,” she discusses her pregnancy diet plan: “Keeping a healthy lifestyle has always been important to me and now it’s even more important because I am looking out for someone else’s well being other than just my own. I’ve been researching recipes and healthy eating tricks to make sure that I get the right nutrition now that I’m eating for two!”

Kim and her baby’s health are at the forefront of her mind, as she recently suffered a health scare. Just last week, Kim was rushed to the hospital after suffering a miscarriage scare. Fortunately, it was a false alarm. A source told New York Post that Kim’s doctors are ordering her to take it easy, saying, “Kim’s not respecting her pregnancy… She’s running around, working out seven days a week. She’s working with two different trainers to control her weight, including Tracy Anderson and a pregnancy trainer… She’s scared that her ass is as big as a couch and is going south… But she is having a very rough pregnancy, and doctors have ordered her to slow down.”

Kim discussed her changing body in a blog post before her miscarriage scare:

“For me, I’ve found that I’ve gained inches and I’ve gotten wider but my belly hasn’t popped yet, so I struggle finding things that don’t make me look heavy. Some days my baby bump really shows, and some days it doesn’t… so I never really know what I’m going to look like.

At this stage I guess I’m more focused on concealing the weight gain than I am about dressing the bump, just because it hasn’t popped yet . . . Once I start showing more I’ll be all about showing off my bump, and I can’t wait!”

Kim discusses her fitness regime in her “Staying Healthy” blog post, saying, “For me it’s about maintaining a well-balanced eating and fitness plan. My friend Harley Pasternak sent me this book and I am so excited to read it! The Body Reset Diet will give you the tools you need to restart the way you are eating and boost your metabolism. I love his recipes and I know you guys will too! Xo.”

Hopefully, although Kim wants to stay fit and healthy, she is not going overboard exercising and is following her doctor’s orders. It seems Kim has mellowed her pregnancy and diet approach; her blog post two days later was about having a delicious dinner at the Italian restaurant, Ferdi, in Paris. Let’s hope she indulged in a little pasta!

      if anyone saw the pictures of her from the gas station the other day, it’s clear she is not eating healthy. she makes herself look heavy by trying to still wear all the same right clothes.

      Why does she keep bringing up eating habits & exercise during her first pregnancy. She has no idea how her body is going to handle pregnancy & weight gain. No 2 women are alike or even 2 pregnancies(Im sure each of us who have had kids have a had so many difference experiences with what works for us). I don’t think pregnant women should give advice to mass audiences(fine to ask a friend advice) because so many women have different and sometimes dangerous issues to deal with that there is no one size fits all Kim pregnancy plan (gag I hate to think of the books and such she will want to sell soon). She just needs to be normal, dress like a fashionable pregnant women(designer jeans and a cute top), excerise in private and eat what her doctor tells her.

      Funny how she forgets to mention the nutritionist, dietitian, and 3 trainers she probably has working with her right now. Because that’s realistic to something that most pregnant woman can do. I just HATE when any celebrity ever stretches to give advice on losing weight and being healthy. They have the resources to go hire the best private trainer and nutritionist they can find and paying those people to work with them every single day. Normal people don’t have that luxury.

      Yeah that’s the last person in the world I’d want advice from on how to stay fit. Look how many people she has hired to help her and she STILL has blown up so much!
      I’ve had 3 kids so it’s not like I don’t know what its like to be pregnant.

      Like another commenter mentioned, no two pregnancies are the same. With my first, a boy, I was a damn whale. I hardly at all and still managed to gain 55 lbs. Wasn’t just in my belly either, it was all over. With my second, a girl, I gained 25 lbs, and it was all in my belly. So she’s blowing up? Doesn’t mean she isn’t doing everything she can to maintain a healthy weight for when she has to lose all that weight after baby. Should she be giving healthy eating and nutrition tips to other people? Definitely not. Again,, every person is different, from the way they lose weight to the way they gain it.

      Lol who is she kidding?! She’s not eating healthy or working out!! She has gained so much wait its crazy!!! I understand she is pregnant but she isn’t even in her third trimester yet! She’s only going to gain more as the weeks go on. She needs to be careful with gestational diabeties.
