Jenelle Evans on why she was in rehab, and if she’s single

Jenelle Evans reportedly heads to rehab type facility in Florida

Jenelle Evans is out of rehab and spending her days with her husband Courtland Rogers after splitting with her ex-fiance Gary Head last week. There are still a lot of questions surrounding why the Teen Mom 2 star was in rehab and why she went back to the man she claims assaulted her four times. Today, Jenelle addressed those questions on Sulia.

“Maybe instead of voicing what REALLY happened I’ll just stay silent because silence is golden. :] But I will let everyone know that I AM SINGLE and I AM NOT DATING ANYONE,” Jenelle revealed this morning on Sulia. “I’m focusing on myself and my son’s life, nobody else’s. This means taking baby steps at a time.”

Over the weekend, Jenelle shared several photos of herself with her son Jace but by Tuesday, she seemed to be back full-force with Courtland. Since then, they seem to have spent every waking hour together and several photos of them together have surfaced including one while they were at dinner and another while they were driving around town.

As for rehab, Jenelle says she “didn’t complete 30 days of rehab because for one I didn’t go to there detoxing off of ANYTHING and went there SOBER, second I went to a Florida rehab but transferred because it was a NIGHTMARE, lol long story.”

While Jenelle claims to have gone to rehab sober, her lawyer told E! News she was there to be treated for her drug addiction. “Jenelle is in a rehabilitation treatment facility in North Carolina to address any addiction issues for drug use,” he told them last week.

“Once transferring the new facility was very nice and nothing wrong with the staff or patients there,” Jenelle continued. “I simply feel as if I didn’t need to go to treatment if my problem isn’t drugs anymore, and never will be again. I need individual counseling and therapy if anything for being addicted to relationships. I can honestly admit this about myself and can’t seem to help it unless I continue to get the help I need through therapy.”

So what Jenelle is really addicted to is guys — and not very good ones at that. Hopefully she will get the treatment she needs to focus on the only man in her life that really matters, Jace.

I trust her lawyer more than her. Jenelle, good lord, you’re a joke. Also, you look like the girl from the video in The Ring

    • Nathan

Her statement and her lawyer’s statement technically aren’t contradictory. You can be sober at the moment and still be considered a drug addict. But, honestly, I doubt she was really sober.

    • Mia003

Why because she has black hair? That’s stupid.

      • Stef

No, because she really does look like her.

  • Stephanie

Everytime when she is single she says that only Jace is important in her life, but as soon as she has a new boyfriend she forgets the poor boy.

  • K

What happened to her urging people to ‘leave him alone, he’s my husband’ just yesterday? And now she’s single. Hmm. BTW, that picture of them driving was taken a long time ago, so that’s not really a recent one. Just saying…

  • Jay

She is not “single.” She is legally married. She is so dumb.

    • Mia003

I don’t think she is talking about single on paper. I think she is talking about single as in not dating anyone.

  • Maiko Higa

I don’t think she understands what “single” means.

    • Mia003

Separated, single, same thing. They are not together only on paper unless she is lying.

      • Maiko Higa

        Not exactly the same thing.

  • CP

She has just proved she was too young and immature to be married in the first place. No sweetie, you’re not single. You’re married. You can’t just “break up” with you’re husband and you’re magically not married anymore. At the rate she’s going, she’ll never be divorced from him. Every time they get back on good terms then wanna end it again, they start their 1 year separation over.
She should never get Jace back in my opinion. He’s much safer being with Barbara. Jenelle would be good to Jace for maybe 2 days then ignore him so she can get high or have sex with the next guy.

Maybe it is a good thing she got married in NC and not in some other states that have quickie 2 weeks divorces(like where I live, plenty of Janelle types bounce from marriage to marriage within months). Now there is no easy way out, nothing MTV, money, or her mom or lawyer can do to make her marriage end in a few weeks like her relationships do.

If you are in rehab for drugs, especially heroin, you CANNOT stay for a total of 8 days and expect to “no longer have a problem with drugs” I am guessing that she kicked and then ditched. God help her and her son.

    • steve

      Kicked the ditched! Bahahahahaha. Yup!!!!!!!

    • Mia003

Rehab will not help you unless you decide to quit. You don’t even need rehab if you are serious about quitting. Just put down the drugs, quit and don’t do it again. That’s the only way to quit is to just quit! No one is going to do it for you.

      • missy

Well, there are some drugs that you become chemically addicted to, heroin (pain killers, opiates) being one of them. You need to go through detox. Whether you do it in a controlled medical setting or get violently ill in the comfort of your own home, there is no way around it. Secondly, I guess you could say one does not “need” a rehab facility but, you do need to rehabilitate yourself. People places and things, learn to live without self medicating. You most certainly can do it on your own but it would be highly NOT recommended, your success rate drops by 80% (i’m just throwing out a number) if you do not have the support of others ie; medical professionals especially when opiates are involved. I know from personal experience, a family member is a heroin addict. I wish her (Jenelle) well but also wish she chose to stay in a program. They work.

      • Dr Me

Wrong. Alcoholics are at risk of DEATH upon sudden withdrawal — they can’t just stop drinking or they can die. Benzodiazepine addicts are also at very serious risk of seizure, severe complications and some have had strokes/heart attacks etc from sudden withdrawal. There are some drugs that cannot be quit abruptly and need a tapered detox with medical supervision.
Don’t spread dangerous misinformation. All addiction has a major mental component and requires a lot of work. Few people can do it alone. It’s ignorant and arrogant to say otherwise.

  • GumballGiggity

She’s married and in North Carolina, you have to be legally separated from your spouse for an entire year >_> what a nutcase.

  • spottedgiraffe

Lmao at her focusing on her son’s life. Lets not forget she is still living an hour away from him for?

  • Ashley

She said she was “single” when she was living with Gary and freaked out when he was with another girl. I totally beleive her this time……

  • :))))))))

Can she just admit her drug use already, because last time i checked being addict to relationship doesn’t give you a meth face. Good try Jenelle, but we’re not that stupid.

Looser!! She exploits her child! Low IQ, less than average looking; this is as good as it gets for her—I would not want to be around her….or want her around a child!

  • Ashley

Well that’s really cool that she is admitting she has a problem with relationships. She’s never admitted that before so good for her! it is kind of ignorant for her to say that she doesn’t need rehab for drugs. Even if she wasn’t using or withdrawing when she went in like she said, it’s still about drug use because she needs to deal with the emotional problems BEHIND the use. Relationships being one of them, so that’s good that she recognizes that.

  • lisa

    She needs to be spayed.

  • sammi

Janelle’s eyebrows should be illegal in all 50 states

  • Sasha Brewer Giraldo

Watching her, she really comes off as a manic depressive . She needs to get help by going to a 30-60 day psychiatry center.
