LeAnn Rimes was recently rumored to be joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alongside nemesis Brandi Glanville. While the report was certainly a bit outlandish, it may not have been as far from the truth as we previously thought. Apparently, LeAnn is currently in talks for a show of her own!
“LeAnn has been approached about doing both scripted and nonscripted shows,” a source reveals to Us Weekly, adding that she has been in talks with producers and “hearing people out.” The news comes as a bit of a surprise, especially considering that LeAnn previously seemed repulsed by the idea of a reality show. Late last year, she told Jay Leno that “there’s no reality in a reality show.”
If LeAnn does end up doing a reality show, it’s sure to cause issues for Brandi Glanville. As fans may recall, Eddie wouldn’t allow their two kids to appear on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, so if the boys end up on LeAnn’s show, Brandi is going to be P.O.ed! (Of course, I would assume Brandi would have the same legal authority to prevent that from happening as Eddie.)
However, Brandi may not need to worry. Us Weekly‘s source claim that LeAnn’s husband Eddie Cibrian “is not involved.” So whatever she is considering must be focused on her professional life more than her personal life, which is kind of a bummer considering her personal life seems to be an endless supply of drama.
Meanwhile, LeAnn’s rival Brandi is reportedly in talks to turn her book Drinking And Tweeting into a movie! (Oh, these two.)
