Justin Bieber’s mom wants him back with Selena Gomez

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez break up

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez called it quits on their two-year relationship last fall, but since then, the two have been very publicly on again/off again. While neither party seems to be sure of what they want, Justin’s mom is reportedly pulling for a reconciliation.

“Justin’s mom has always been very close to Selena, and she’s impressed by what a good influence she’s been on her son,” a source tells Radar Online. “Pattie’s been pushing hard for Justin to get back with Selena. However, Selena doesn’t want to associate with the crowd Justin’s been hanging out with lately as she thinks they’re not to be trusted. And, with good reason, as it was one of Justin’s supposed friends who recently sold photos of him allegedly smoking weed.”

“Selena is very careful who she spends time with and is very suspicious of people she doesn’t know – she doesn’t want to be with Justin all the time as he’s surrounding himself with what she thinks are really shady people,” the source continues. “Pattie believes though that if Selena would just get back together again with Justin she could soon get him back on the straight and narrow.”

However, that may not be possible. The couple seems to have been trying to get things back to the way they were for a few months now, but to no avail. They even went away together at the end of December, but their getaway ended in drama and Selena flew back to the States early.

“I seriously doubt Justin and Selena will ever get back together for good,” the source says. “They fight non-stop over just about everything. Selena has a problem with Justin’s choice of friends and serious trust issues with him.”

During a recent appearance on the Today Show, Pattie weighed in on their split saying, “You know, I just try and support whatever he’s wanting. I think Selena is a sweetheart, and whatever they decide is great. It’s tough letting go and letting our kids make the mistakes they need to make.”
