Amanda Bynes has been staying out of the public eye for a while now after a devastating few months jam-packed with hit-and-runs, a pinching match, and even a naked tanning salon lobby appearance. But now, it looks like the troubled star is back to her old ways. According to reports, Amanda recently became such a menace in her NYC apartment building that her landlords threatened to kick her out.
However, Amanda decided to ditch the joint before that happened. And by joint we mean her apartment — not her actual joints. If she had ditched them, she probably wouldn’t have been in that position in the first place.
TMZ reports, “[Amanda] got a letter from building management earlier this month explaining that her lease would be terminated because she’s a building nuisance.”
The site goes on to explain that they have been told by sources in the building that management made the decision after receiving several complaints from other residents that marijuana smoke was coming out of Amanda’s apartment “morning, noon and night” and that Amanda was even seen smoking marijuana in the hallways off the smoke-free building.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard about Amanda allegedly toking up. Last year in Los Angeles, several reports were made about her love of the drug and photographs of the inside of her car showed what looked to be marijuana leaves and old buds strewn about.
Moving trucks were seen outside of Amanda’s house earlier today in NYC. No word on whether or not smoke was coming out of them.
