After less than two seasons A&E’s reality series Duck Dynasty has become one of the top five highest rated reality series on cable as America has fallen in love with these charismatic, bearded, business-savvy, family-first Robertson men and their lovely wives. And for anyone curious enough to explore the show beyond the weekly telecasts, the number one question that gets asked is “What were the Robertson boys like before the beards?”
Thanks in large part to the Robertson family, and in no small part to our obsessions with the show and with the Robertsons, we’ve been able to share a number of Duck Dynasty “before the beards” photos, including Uncle Si in his Army uniform, all four Robertson brothers as preppy golfers, and Willie Robertson in numerous hairless shots like him in his high school basketball team, with future wife Korie at prom, and as a student at LSU sporting not only a clean-shaven visage, but also an infamous hairstyle that could have inspired a completely different show titled Mullet Dynasty!

Yep, that’s a much younger Jase Robertson and Willie Robertson holding up little brother Jep Robertson! Jase already has his deadpan down. Willie’s already mugging for the camera. And little Jep’s already workin’ that million dollar smile. How could anyone have known at this point just how much these three boys would be saving over their lifetimes not buying shaving cream and razors?!?
