Some surprising details are emerging about the death of A. J. Jewell, the ex-fiance of The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Kandi Burruss. TMZ is reporting that police were told by witnesses at the scene of the altercation between Jewell and Fredrick Richardson that Jewell was talking and walking after the fight, declining an ambulance and choosing to ride to the hospital with a friend.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office tells us A.J.’s body showed evidence of a physical altercation — and they’re trying to determine the extent of those injuries while also looking to see if there “was another cause of death.”
The M.E.’s Office also says contrary to other reports, there were no stab wounds found on Jewell’s body.
