American Idol Season 9 veteran Tim Urban has created an entirely new genre music: cover versions of songs that haven’t been written yet! The 23-year-old singer has channeled the lyrics to what he believes to be the inevitable song written by Taylor Swift after she breaks up with current rumored boyfriend, One Direction’s Harry Styles.
The tune has just enough of a hook and just enough secret diary earnestness that it’s actually believable, while a the same time being humorous and charming. Tim might want to look into this as a legitimate career! I’m sure you could make a lot of money ghost writing Taylor Swift’s songs months ahead of time!

The song is actually the second Haylor parody (Harody?) music video to make headlines. Washington-based model and musician (and One Direction fan) Ashley (se7enteenblack on tumblr) shared her wonderful performance of “The Haylor Song (Trouble Parody)” on Youtube last week and it has been met with an outpouring of praise as well as 200,000+ views.
