Hilary Duff gave birth to baby Luca 8 months ago, and is now showing off the results of her intense workouts with trainer Gabe Johns.
“Yaaaa bitches! Gabe Johns you’re kickin my ass and its paying off! Skinny jeans! lets go!” Duff, 25, tweeted with a photo of size 26 jeans.”
Her rep further elaborated what Hilary’s been doing with Gabe to get into shape:
“Hilary and Gabe have been doing everything from boxing to two-a-day workouts incorporating wind sprints and jump roping in an effort to finally shed the baby weight. Hilary’s been steadily dropping pounds each week.”
Hilary’s also been focusing on a healthy diet. She tweeted this photo of the green drink that she’s now got baby Luca hooked on:
Over the summer, Hilary had a positive and realistic perspective on a being a new mom who also wanted to get back to her “pre-baby” body:
“I think if you ask any pregnant mom, they’re like ‘I want my body back,’ but it takes time. It takes nine months for your body to get that way and it’s putting on that weight on purpose.”
“Obviously, I’m not where I want to be eventually, but I’m working hard and I’m doing everything I can to lose the weight the right way,” she added. “The second I start to get down like ‘what happened to my body,’ I look at my beautiful baby and I’ve never been more appreciative for this body that I have.”
25-year-old Duff married husband married husband Mike Comrie (31), a Canadian ice hockey player, in 2010, and gave birth to baby Luca March 20, 2012.
The former Lizzie McGuire star is also set to return to work soon. In August it was confirmed that she’s signed a development deal with 20th Century Fox to star in and produce a half-hour comedy. If that project fails, the deal allows for Duff to be cast in another comedy or drama show.
