Joanna Krupa and Romain Zago call off engagement

Joanna Krupa and Romain Zago have officially ended their relationship. The Real Housewives of Miami couple have been together for years and were even engaged to be married, but after seemingly not being able to take the next step or even set a date, Joanna has had enough and wants to move on.

“We got in a huge fight, and I just pretty much got fed up with it,” Joanna tells In Touch Weekly. “He loves me to death, he wants to be with me, but there’s something that’s holding him from committing 100 percent.”

The two had been together for over five years, but Joanna says she knew deep down that their relationship wasn’t headed for a Happily Ever After. She explains, “It’s been more than five years, we don’t have a wedding date set … Nothing was going to change.”

While Joanna insinuates that Romain’s lack of motivation to marry her was the reason for the break up, Romain claims Joanna was just as much to blame for the split.

“She is traveling all over the place anyway. There is no way anyone can be with her like this. That’s her choice,” he tells In Touch Weekly. Joanna travels back and forth from Miami to Los Angeles for work while Romain is based in Miami where he owns a successful nightclub. Plus, now that Joanna is a Housewife, she’s surely even more busy than she was before, and there’s only so much time in a day, right?

As for a possible reconciliation in the future, Romain says, “I don’t know if it’s over forever but I’m pretty p!ssed.”
