Last week, when Jon Gosselin was on Larry King with his skeevy lawyer blabbing about taking the high road, he was sitting pretty on $200,000 of unauthorized money he took from a joint bank account with Kate. On air he said he wanted to talk with her, sort things out, and be friends, but he ignored the fact that he was required by law to get her permission to withdraw money from their shared account. Interwesting.
After the Larry King debacle, Jon stayed in L.A. for a while and probably spent a good chuck of the $200,000 with his new best friend, attorney Mark Heller, who has quite the reputation. Sources tell RadarOnline that Mr. Heller was banned from practicing law for five years, from 1994 to 1999, for “a pattern of misconduct involving misrepresentation, deceit, abusive treatment of clients, fee gouging, neglect and willful failure to return unearned retainers to his clients.” I could have told you that just by looking at him, and hearing him speak, but Jon Gosselin was born without Sleazedar. You can see a pic of Heller without his spray tan on here.
I’m sure the massive, illegal withdrawal was all Heller’s idea. He had to get paid for his lying and weaseling services, and Jon’s $15 check from Millions of Milkshakes wasn’t gonna cut it. Kate’s lawyers will be in court tomorrow arguing for Jon to return the money (which has probably already been spent) and be held in contempt.
