Leonardo Dicaprio and his Victoria’s Secret model girlfriend Erin Heatherton have called it quits after 10 months of dating. The model loving Leonardo has been busy all year filming three different movies and with Erin’s modeling schedule, these two just couldn’t seem to make things work.
“They split a few weeks ago,” a source close to the couple told Us Weekly. “There’s no bad blood -– they still care about each other a lot. They still love and respect each other very much, it was just time to move on.”
This year alone, 37-year-old Leo has worked on movies in Australia, New Orleans, and New York City, and his 23-year-old girlfriend has been modeling in Miami, Los Angeles, and Chicago. “They’re both just really busy, they had crazy schedules,” the source adds. In fact, they haven’t been seen in public since June when the two went for a romantic bike ride in New York City.
Last time we saw Leo, he was in New York City working on the Martin Scorsese movie The Wolf on Wall Street. Erin has also been in the Big Apple spending time with fellow Victoria’s Secret Lily Aldridge who is a new mommy.
Erin wasn’t Leo’s first model girlfriend. He dated Giselle Bundchen from 2001 to 2005 and Bar Refaeli from 2006 to 2011.
