Jeremy Calvert asks Leah Messer to marry him

Leah Calvert and her husband Jeremy Calvert announced that they were expecting a new baby earlier this week, but that wasn’t the couple’s first pregnancy. Leah had become pregnant at the end of last year but unfortunately, she suffered a miscarriage. On the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2, fans will get to see her journey including her engagement to Jeremy and the moment she told her twins that she was having another baby.

During the just-released extended trailer for Teen Mom 2‘s third season, Jeremy is seen asking Leah to marry him, which she accepts. Shortly after, she discovers that she is pregnant with her third child, but when she shares the news with her friend Amy, she’s less than thrilled and says, “Sometimes I don’t know what is going through your head.” Her ex-husband, Corey Simms, doesn’t seem thrilled either.

In a happier moment, Leah is seen sharing the news with her two-year-old twins. “Mommy’s going to have another baby!” the newly engaged Leah announces. While Leah’s miscarriage isn’t seen in the previews, it is something that she shares with the cameras — so be sure to have tissues ready during that heartbreaking episode.

Also in the trailer, Jenelle is seen going through some legal trouble after she is thrown behind bars for failing a drug test — and that’s not her only issue. She’s also dealing with the unknown paternity of her son, Jace. “I don’t even know if Andrew is Jace’s father, she admits. Andrew Lewis is even seen Skyping with her when he proclaims, “He does not look like me at all.”

The show isn’t even about the struggles of teen parenthood anymore; it’s about the lives of dramatic and irresponsible girls. With Leah’s pregnancy on the show I hope they address using birth control, and using it correctly, but somehow I doubt that won’t be a big part of the storyline.

  She did use birth control. She had an IUD, which shifted without her knowing. It’s why she lost her baby

        To expand on my point, yes, she can have a baby if she so chooses. But I hope she doesn’t lie and say that her IUD “slipped” again or something equally silly. Especially if she’s on a show that’s meant to show the troubles of teen motherhood, and prevent teens from making the same mistake. It’s irresponsible of her to say that she messed up her birth control. Just be honest and say it was planned, or that you weren’t being as careful as you should have been. That’s my big problem with Leah, She’s always making excuses for her poor decisions and bad behavior. She cheated on Cory, but hey, Cory cheated too. She got pregnant unplanned, but of her IUD slipped. I’ve never seen someone own up so little to what they’ve done. Today she’s happy, and that’s great. But she should take credit for her mistakes.

    Honestly, do you know? Did you accompany her to the doctor? I find it hard to believe that that particular method has a failure rate of less than 1% yet this girl just so happened to get pregnant TWICE due its failure to work properly….yeah, something doesn’t add up.

This group of teen moms is a train wreck (not that the other one wasn’t too). But look at them…Leah with her 2 marriages, 3 pregnancies, cheating, etc all in like what 3 years? Chelsea with her abusive relationship who it looks like she gets engaged to. Jenelle is not even a teen mom, she is just an egg donor with an extensive criminal record. Compete nutbag. Kailyn brings three different men into her sons life all before he is 2 and yet somehow is ready for marriage.. None of them educated. None in responsible relationships.

        Adam surely was not wrong when he said that Chelsea never worked an honest job a day in her life and all she did was lay around in her PINK sweats and play with Aubree. Her dad was a fool to keep lettin her mooch when she couldnt even hold up her end of the bargain and get her diploma. There was no reason why it took 3 yrs to get her diploma. She had no motivation cause she knew deep down that worse case scenario her dad would take care of them, he was very well off and she knows that.

Leah must be so proud! 21 and already married once, divorced once and 3 babies with 2 different men. She’s a stupid bi***, Corey actually really really loved her and cared about her and the girls but she had to be a wh*** and cheat on him AGAIN!!! Jenelle is a horrible excuse for a mother, I want to beat the sh** out of her for treating her mom and son that way. Chelsea is a spoiled brat who lets Adam treat her like sh** and Kailyn is the least terrible one, not amazing but least terrible.

Here she has a child with a genetic disorder that no one can seem to figure out (which baffles me by the way) and she turns around and gets pregnant for the 3rd time? How irresponsible. Idc what anyone says, she needs to be focusing on what the hell is going on with Ali and seeing if its some trait that either she or Cory carried and seeing if it can be passed to future children. She is the dumbest bird to ever be on tv. She got pregnant by Cory within 10 min of meeting him, cheated left and right on him, married him, divorced, met a new man, got pregnant again, and married said man all within a yr and half to 2 yrs time. I cant wait to see Leah in 10 yrs.

Jenelle is a terrible mother…FACT. i feel bad for that innocent kid who has to continuously see his ‘mother’ act so immature getting high on weed all the time, how selfish can she be. she only thinks of herself, when that kid grows up he will see his grandma as his primary attachment…as for andrew…i have no words.
