Jason Aldean gets cozy with someone other than wife, blames it on the alcohol

Jason Aldean may be married, but that didn’t stop him from engaging in a steamy cuddle session with a former American Idol star at a Los Angeles bar over the weekend. Now that the booze has worn off, he’s having to face the music and explain what the heck he was thinking.

TMZ had originally posted the photos of him and American Idol‘s Brittany Kerr (top -right) at The Den and in addition to their canoodling, they also appeared to be exchanging a kiss or two. Jason had been in town over the weekend for a performance and with his wife and children at home, he was free to play. Only problem with that plan was that The Den is a popular celebrity and tourist hang out and paparazzi frequent the place.

Now that the world has seen his indiscretions first hand, he has issued a statement:

Hey Guys – I wanted to talk to you directly, so you were hearing the truth from me and not just reading allegations made about my personal life on gossip web sites. The truth is that I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar. I left alone, caught the bus to our next show and that’s the end of the story. I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself. I’m not perfect, and I’m sorry for disappointing you guys. I really appreciate being able to work through this privately with my family and for all your continued support.

That may have been the end of his night, but something tells us this story isn’t over — at least when it comes to his relationship with his wife. Jason wed his high school sweetheart Jessica Ussery in 2001 and the couple has two children together. This news, and his apology, likely won’t sit well with her.

So far, no word from Brittany… But I think an old country song might sum it up:

He’s only admitting to doing wrong because he got caught. He’d never would have said anything otherwise. If a boy can cheat on the mother of his kids he can cheat on anyone.

A friend of mine use to be on a tour with Jason. This is not the first time he has cheated. His wife had actually walked on his tour bus while his pants were down and she was ass end up.

      That’s not fair to say “she’s not going to leave the money” they’ve been married almost 12 years with two kids and they’re high school sweethearts! Believe it or not but not every relationship in Hollywood gives up at the first bump in the road. Granted this is a huge bump but I respect people who try to work out things together, especially for the children! It takes a STRONG woman to be able to stay with a man that cheated on her (NO ONE knows what ANY relationship is REALLY like behind closed doors and the bond they share) She could divorce him and live VERY comfortable with out him to break her heart, but with her…. I REALLY doubt she’s only staying for the money!!!

Im sorry but i got too drunk is the most lame excuse in the world. He wanted to go out, party, and have a good time. The two of them are in the public eye and have kids and teenagers looking up to them. What does this kind of behavior show them?? Its good he apologized but actions speak louder than words. She looks even worse cuz she isnt woman enough to stand up and admit her wrong doing

he got caught! Willing to bet it’s not the first time, seeing as he was doing this right out in public….seems pretty comfortable with it all!! She is just as guilty as him, women don’t get it…he is cheating on the mother of his kids!!! STOP and go find your own single man! Pathetic..if he is cheating with you..he will cheat on you!

sorry, but why does this other woman need to apologize? of course what she did was wrong too if she knew he was married, but HE could have stopped it too. he’s more to blame because he’s the married guy with kids. HE is a married man hitting on another girl. i don’t know of him or his marriage so not everyone even knows he’s married.

  I agree they are both equally to blame BUT most girls look or at least notice when they’re flirting with a guy if he has a ring on! (Sometimes we look as far as to see if there’s a tan line on his ring finger….even drunk) Also I just think it would be a classier (if that exists) if she apologized like Kristen Stewart. She doesn’t have to apologize, but that just makes her look unapologetic.
