42-year-old Aerin Lauder is following in her grandmother Estee Lauder’s footsteps with her very own makeup and accessories line, and you can try some for free! See below for Giveaway details.
It’s called “Aerin,” and features everything a girl needs: lipsticks, eyeshadows, body creams, and even accessories like brushes. When asked by Vogue how her collection differs from the Estee Lauder line, Aerin said “it’s pretty instead of beautiful.”
Aerin sat down with Who What Wear for a long, informative live chat about the line. In the chat, Aerin explains that she wanted to combine the modern AND the feminine in this line, something she felt was lacking in the beauty industry.
Interesting facts about the line: The pink print on the Essentials line was found at a vintage shop, and all the compacts are gold-dipped linen to add luxurious texture.
The collection is perfect for Aerin’s personal beauty-style: the “no-makeup” makeup look. She regularly uses foundation, bronzer, mascara, and lipstick in neutral tones, which enhances beauty but doesn’t look like too much.
