Farrah Abraham filming spin-off, gets musical support from Simon van Kempen

Ever since the finale of Teen Mom aired two weeks ago, there have been spin-off rumors about both Catelynn Lowell and Maci Bookout. But now, Farrah Abraham has shocked everyone by announcing that she is getting her own spin-off!

Farrah has been all over New York Fashion Week attending several events and during one she shared her big spin-off news with Us Weekly. ”I’m just closing on it,” Farrah explained. “It’s gonna be just about me and my life.”

Farrah has been keeping busy since filming wrapped on Teen Mom and last month, she released her memoir, My Teenage Dream Ended. “Happily it’s a New York Times best seller, and so many moms come with their babies [to book events], so [my daughter] has been playing with them,” Farrah reveals. “At every book signing, it’s a huge turnout — even in my hometown! I was so surprised.”

In addition to her book, she also released an album to mixed reviews, and has plans for more music. Although it wasn’t a hit by any means, former Real Housewives of New York star Simon van Kempen, who also received criticism for his own single “I’m Real,” is supportive of Farrah’s music and even offered her some advice. “You live your life once. You’ll have people say vile things about you. F**k them, live your life. You live your life yourself and that’s all that matters,” he told Wetpaint.

With her spin-off, book tour, modeling, and music career, we’ve got to wonder, what’s going on with Sophia? “She’s wonderful. I’ve been working so much, but I fly out tomorrow to see her — I’m so excited,” Farrah said. “She’s like my mini-me. I’m in love with her.” Farrah also bragged that her daughter is “so smart I put her in early learning school. . . I’m trying to get her to skip some grades!”

Farrah’s spin-off may be surprising to some, but the truth of the matter is that she’s been working on it for a long time. In fact, Farrah’s modeling agent, Christiaan Almazan, spoke with us in March and revealed plans for a future spin-off for Farrah.

Don’t forget to tune in to see Farrah in the last-ever episode of Teen Mom which airs this Tuesday night at 10/9c. The special episode will feature all of the unseen moments from season 4.

I just don’t see that she is interesting enough to have her own show, but then the Kardashian clan have their own show, so who knows? The big question will be, who actually produces it, will it actually air, and will it bring in enough viewers to stay on the air? Time will tell!

  That’s why it will be successful. It’s like watching a train wreck.. she’s incredibly bitchy and annoying, but it’s ‘entertaining’ to watch. How the heck could anyone like her? I have no idea how she sold so many of her books, especially from the reviews I’ve read.

What is the purpose of this show farrah is really unlikeable. I wish these girls would just be happy that they got four years on the show. Made money and just move on and live normal life’s with their kids. And stop trying to be famous and be a real celebrity. farrah just need to stop out of all the girls she is really trying to be famous it has now become embarrassing . Just move on and live a normal life you are never going to be a Demi Lovato or Selena Gomez.

  Farrah is never going to stop trying to be a “celebrity.” She was in an acting class when she got pregnant, and her instructor suggested she “audition” for 16 & Pregnant….so it was always about acting and being a “celebrity” for her!

1) “At every book signing, it’s a huge turnout — even in my hometown! I was so surprised.” Most people would have the largest turnout for their book signing in their hometown – but Farrah is surprised that people actually came. That tells you how much people who actually know her like her.

2) She’s flying out to see Sophia? Meaning that she is not living with her or seeing her much? I thought that Farrah was sooo against Sophia not living with her all the time.

I definitely will not be watching her show….if it even ever makes it on television.
