Jenelle Evans’ baby daddy Andrew Lewis addresses Jace custody, Jenelle, Teen Mom

Jenelle Evans and Andrew Lewis in '16 & Pregnant'

Andrew Lewis is the baby daddy of Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans. (Actually, that may not be true. Jenelle sort of seemed to admit he wasn’t Jace’s father back in January of 2011, but we’ll ignore that whole thing for the sake of this article.) While fans saw him a bit on 16 & Pregnant, they didn’t see him much after. Andrew is no longer in their three-year-old son’s life and according to Jenelle, he isn’t even paying his court ordered child support. While many would label him a ‘deadbeat dad,’ he claims otherwise. In a new Facebook post, the typically mysterious Andrew is speaking out against the bad wrap he’s gotten since appearing on the MTV show.

“People say I am a drunk loser deadbeat but I am not I do not drink nor do drugs I work hard as a full time student completing my goals I have set in my life,” Andrew explains to fans in a post published on his Facebook fan page. Andrew who says he is now “happy with his life” is currently working on his Master of Fine Arts in filming at Florida State College.

As far as his association with Teen Mom, Andrew is tired of being bothered with fans’ questions and concerns. “I do not want anything to do with that show or 16 & Pregnant, thats why you never see me on there, it is degrading, and makes teenagers around the world think it is ok to be young mothers.” Looks like he’s hopped on the “Teen Mom Glamorizes Pregnancy” train that its stars (and impartial researchers) have tried so hard to discredit.

As for him not being seen on the show because it’s degrading, we’d have to note that another possible reason is that he is no longer in lives of Jenelle and their son. He added that another reason for his absence is that it could have been damaging to his career. “Once your off that show thats it for you no more career move there, your gonna be stuck known as a teen mom forever, i respect the business ive worked in it since i was 17, and if i wanted to become famous or more likely “publicly known” i would work a hell of a lot harder than just being on a reality t.v series.” Ouch.

Also in the post, Andrew addresses Jenelle’s recent troubles and says that she’s gone “downhill” since they broke up. He even insinuates that he was the one who made sure that she was a good girl when the pair was involved. “When I dated her she never was in trouble with the law didnt do drugs etc etc I kept her boundaries inline.”

Jenelle, who is currently dating Kieffer Delp, had recently claimed that Andrew owed her mother over $4,000 in back child support. Ironically, Andrew didn’t address the issue of child support in his extensive blog, nor did he explain why he no longer sees Jace.

Upon reading Andrew’s post, Jenelle responded with a statement of her own on Twitter. “OHHHH Andrew, yu claim yu’ve been going to college since i’ve met yu. im going to be successful unlike yu. Yu still live with yr parents and yu are how old now? almost 28 ? yu also claim yu “dont want to be in the industry” when clearly yu just got back from NYC where yu COULDNT make it in the modeling industry.”

Jenelle adds, “If yu are “doing well” why not pay the $4,000 in child support yu owe? thats bulls**t. i pay every month, so should yu. or maybe yu should come see yr son? nope cant do that.”

Another juicy tidbit? Andrew dished on the hot topic of salary! ”They got like 60,000 a year from what people tell me and when they filmed me I got 5,000 for every 8 hours of filming.”

(To be honest, I don’t know how Jenelle keeps up with it all! That’s a whole lotta feudin!)

Jenelle would be lost without Twitter or other social networking sites. She loves to blast people from behind the keyboard. They’re both POS, as far as I’m concerned.

    • Meh

Apparently its difficult to adf the “o” in “you”.

      • K

Apparently its difficult to add the “d” not the “f” for you? Don’t make fun of someone then do the same thing in the process.

        • Ollie

          lol

        • amber

Easy spelling mistake above but jenelle does it on purpose

I feel bad for that little boy he is so cute but he has one hell of a life a father that never sees him and a mother that worries about her boyfriend and smoking weed than her own son! Not to mention constantly being around fight and screaming and swearing! It is sad some kids have to grow up like that

      Jenelle drives me nuts

    • manbearpig

So she admits that the Stephen guy is Jaces real father (and he looks just like him) but expects Andrew to pay child support? Why doesn’t she just get child support from his REAL dad?

      • Kelly

I thought they had a DNA test or something proving that Andrew was the father? If they haven’t got one they need to. I feel so bad for jace.

    • Larry Henderson

Did anyone see that new ass picture of Jenelle?

    • tab

jenelle would be living at home with her mom, too, if it weren’t for her mtv money. she’s done nothing since having jace, she barely graduated high school!
and i thought she said she wasn’t 100% sure that andrew was jace’s father??

    • Amata

Considering her child support is under $50 a month how can she NOT pay it?!?

    • Jenn

Maybe she should be paying her mother child support since it is her that is caring for the child. I love it when moms who allow their mothers to raise their children expect the father to pay child support but they don’t think they need to pay a dime. Thank goodness for Barbara.

      • L

She does pay her mother child support. That’s what she’s talking about.

    • Ladybug

Why is it so hard to add the “o” on “you”? I mean wow.
And one thing i dont understand, i’ve been watching 16&preg. And teen mom since it first came out and all i see is how miserable this girls are, all the problems and heartbrake so how are this shows “GLAMOROUS”?? Maybe some ppl see something i dont.

    • Kait

I always remember that scene with Jenelle in the pink dress…
“Mom..Mom..MOM…Nothing else worse can happen Mom”

bahahah… I’m thinking there are plenty of worse things that have happened

    • Wierd

Kinda wondering how he’s getting a Masters degree at a 2 year community college…

      • c-lo-do

It’s called transferring 2 years there then eligible to attend a university!

      • tooweird

Yea…you absolutely cannot get any Master’s degree at Florida State College or any other state college in FL. Andrew’s full of shit and starcasm is too lazy to fact check lol.

I’m sorry but it pisses me off to no end why MTV never addresses the subject of illegal sexual relations. I’m not entirely sure what the age of consent is where her state is because I don’t know her state, but even if she was 16/17 & that was age of consent, he was way too old at the time to be involved with a 15/16 year old girl. Anyone of such an age who is having sex with a girl that young is … well, many words for it. Same thing with Gary/Amber and I’m pretty sure that one was illegal. I think I’ve read that confirmed. It is a sexual offense, and it needs to be taken seriously. When I was 16 (not age of consent where I was from), I had sex with an authority figure in my life who was 39 (I know that’s older than the age difference with Jenelle and Andrew, but that’s not the point). The only reason I ever felt it consensual was because he manipulated me into thinking it was and coerced me, and then when he started to do worse things I felt too scared to say no. At the time I hated my parents and the law for punishing him because I cared about him, and so on. Now that I look back on it five years later, it’s totally easy to see just how wrong it was. I know for a fact that none of the guys I hang with my age would consider a relationship with someone that young. They can get decent enough sex with an 18 year old if they want “young” sex.

      • A.J.

I agree 100%. I’m sorry that that happened to you, but I commend you for speaking out about it. And I’m glad that you realize what he did. I wonder why no one on the show has addressed this issue as of yet.

        • Carry

Thank you A.J. that’s really kind. It’s hard for me to deal with sometimes, but trying to help others realize what’s happening to them helps. I actually did send MTV a very professional, but blunt email about the subject. Never got a reply of course. I hope someone at least read it. I don’t like them not acknowledging it. They don’t even cover it in the sit downs at the reunions. Sorry, but I think sexual offenses are a bigger issue than a pregnancy.

    • A.J.

There’s a lot of age disparity when it comes to sexual relationships on the show, and no one seems to bring it up. True, there were a few girls who were older than their boyfriends, but never by a couple of years. On the other hand, there have been numerous men on the show who were significantly older than the girls, to the point that it could have been prosecuted. So far, none of the parents (on either side) have addressed this issue.

    • Musiclvr

That was true but after MacKenzie’s, can’t remember if she’s spells it like that) episode, it’s definitely glamorized. And now she is going to be on Teen Mom 3. Her episode didn’t show any struggle besides being worried about the it being able to cheerlead.

      • Musiclvr

**Sorry posting from my phone and getting use to my new keyboard app. I meant besides being worried about not being able to cheerleader.

that is the same girl that never got on ANY form of birth control either because she didn’t wanna gain weight. idiot. yet neither of them had jobs and they both still live with their parents. wtf.

    • helloisitme

Oh please! I can’t stand a dead beat dad, but if Andrew is not actually Jace’s biological father, nor did he adopt him, why should he pay child support? That’s absolutely ridiculous.

    • gigi

Why does she spell you “yu” like at ??? lol >_<

      • http://twitter.com/MarianGlyde Marian Brewer

Twitter has a 140 character limit, so likely she was conserving space. At least she put the ‘y’ in. Most people just put ‘u.’
