Teen Mom star Gary Shirley is no stranger to having a little fun on Twitter (as his “It’s Gary Time” motto and ID would attest) and last night was no exception as he shared a series of tweets obviously making light of cast mate Farrah Abraham’s recent album release and the much-disparaged single “Finally Getting Up From Rock Bottom.”

Though Gary may have been joking about the autotune and the subject matter of his song, he does have some musical skillz! In addition to being seen strumming a guitar and singing on the show, Gary wrote and recorded a special song for his good buddy Evan Parker as well. So who knows, maybe we will be seeing Gary Shirley in the recording studio soon! (I know I’d shell out $8.99 for “It’s Gary Time” the album.)

UPDATE - We’re getting reports that Gary Shirley tweeted earlier today that he was not “making light” of Farrah with his tweets. We can’t find the tweet in question from Gary, and we certainly didn’t intend to misinterpret his intentions! I’m a big fan of Gary’s, and usually right in line with his sense of humor, but perhaps I misunderstood him on this one. If so, my apologies Gary! (You at least like the Daddy Gagarry album cover though, right?)

Starcasm, love your site, I would like to know through all your research, who is Gary’s father? They never show him, and he’s never talked about, also the mother Carol, her husband is never talked about or shown. I find him more curious then Amber. Her family has been put on blast, but we know very little about Gary. He was an adult when he made her pregnant, she was a minor, what about that? Gary just seems like a non-motivated POS that is living off of the MTV money, doesn’t work, always traveling around, trying to sell T Shirts for quick money, not impressed with this 20 something that looks 50. Feel sorry for that sweet sweet child. I hope Amber gets better, gets her life back and has a real positive role in her daughter’s life!

  A lot of people seem to be forgetting that Amber was underage when she got with Gary. No one seemed to bring it up on the show either, and it is a bit disturbing. And they did show Gary’s stepfather a couple of times on “Teen Mom”, during the second and third seasons.

I do believe he once said his father was a deadbeat that he never knew him or he had walked out at a younger age? And this was very rude of Gary even if he wasn’t trying to make fun of farrah he did clearly. I tell ya what it must be nice to be a teen mom and actually have money for doing much of nothing. And the whole over age and amber being a minor I think that goes with state laws like in Tennessee the father of my child is nearly four years older than me its like 3 yrs 11 months and some days making it barely legal for us so that may have been the case with him. I agree that he needs to get off his butt and do something though I mean your not gonna be famous much longer! And I just love how farrah maci and Gary try to get money off their fame they shouldn’t be famous they should just be noticed I’m a teen mom living a hard life with no money they have it coming out of their ears so ill just sit back and wait a few years when their moneys gone. Maci wants her own show and so does farrah but farrah also wants it all and Gary just wants women to notice him and sit on his but. Maci needs to finish college for once its time! And she really needs to lay off the booze its OK every now and then but shell be in the papers soon abt being an alcoholic and that’s how shell regain publicity I see it now… “how I overcame my addiction” farrah is doing good I’m glad she finished college and is doing things with her life but I think she’s trying too hard and doing to much all at once Gary just needs to get a job for real.

To be honest I dont see Maci accomplishing a darn thing post teen mom. I see her 5 yrs from now still trying to complete a full yr of college and never getting out of freshman zone. They dont want to do anything positive but make a quick buck. If they wanted to capitalize off teen mom they would use that money and go to college while they can afford it instead of quick rich fixes like Farrah is doing? Spaghetti sauce, really? Judging by the horrid looking cake she baked Sophia for her bday which looked like something a rat chewed up, i have no faith her sauce will he edible. Every last one of these cast members is going to get a harsh dose of reality very soon.

Well, it is kind of hilarious because she cannot sing at all and that entire album sucked! Is she tone def? She set herself up for this stuff.
