If he cared about his daughter, he would live a healthier lifestyle. She needs him around in 20 years. At this rate, he’ll die of a heart attack before she graduates college. Come on, get off the tractor and use a walking mower. Stop being lazy and get your act together.

He really does need to get healthy for leah! I feel like every time I see leah eating on the show it’s either mcdonalds or cake. Every once in a while is fine, but she should be taught and shown how to be healthy!

My dad is a 52 year old man that cuts our 2-acre lot (1 acre of that being a large hill) with an aromatic-propelled push mower. The worst part of it is that 4 years ago he did it with a manual-push mower, and after that broke my parents got a lawn service, but my dad dropped the lawn service because he just loves to get the exercise that cutting the grass brings. I’ve heard a lot of people say that, too. Cutting grass with a push-mower is some of the best exercise you can get, and it isn’t as boring as say, running on a treadmill.

Gary would get off his fat-a$$ and run a mile if he wanted Leah to have a better life then he had. She is just gonna end up obese and lazy if he doesn’t change his lifestyle. It’s not as easy for a girl to be overweight as it is for a guy, either. Girls are a lot meaner and more sensitive when it comes to that kind of stuff.

I’m sorry but this is disgusting. Not just aesthetic wise, but for his daughter. Leah is seen constantly eating McDonald’s. Point is, it’s not like he has some severe disease disabling him from working out or losing weight, so if he can’t care for himself, how can he care for Leah? Additionally, her parents both come from a history of overweight people, so he should be doing something to better himself and her future so she doesn’t have to struggle.

And if he’s not on food stamps as he so professes, then there should be no reason why he can’t get healthy food for his daughter and himself, not some fast food junk.

Looking at Gary, his mother, and even Amber, Leah is probably going to be overweight herself. She is already chunky for someone her age. I agree too that she should not be eating Mcdonalds and junk all the time. Its a sometimes food, not just for kids but for adults too. Gary looks gross. Its no reason why he couldnt get to a gym or even walk the neighborhood 30 min a day. Any little bit helps. Its just unhealthy to be that big at his age. He needs to be an example for his daughter cause gosh knows, looking at his mom, she was not an example to him. His clothes dont even fit him, they’re always too tight and too short barely covering his back. That would be reason enough for me to make some small strides. Nobody expects him to lose it overnight but he should certainly start making some adjustments, starting with walking with a lawnmover and not sitting.
