When you get a hair cut and it instantly gets its own name, then Ellen DeGeneres copies the style you know you’ve got a trend on your hand, or at least an internet meme.
When Miley Cyrus cut her hair a few days back the internet was swamped with people expressing their opinions either for or against. The result has pretty much been a split and when you consider that at least 90% of internet comments are negative then what you have in actuality is a vast approval for Miley’s adventuresome new do.
To further illustrate this point Ellen DeGeneres took to her Twitter account and posted the above photo of her own version of “The Miley.” Here was her tweet:

They say imitation is the best form of flattery and when Ellen does it it’s pretty funny too! While Ellen may be poking a little fun (more at the overwhelming response to the cut than Miley I’m sure), remember that she’s always been in support of individuality and people being their true selves.
