In case you weren’t feeling old and unaccomplished today, here’s a chance for all of us to wallow in our unproductiveness.
16-year-old Tavi Gevinson, who by 13 was a fashion icon schoozing with Anna Wintour and all the top designers (because of her blog,) and by 15 founded a really well-written and inspiring young woman’s online magazine called Rookie, has been cast in an untitled Nicole Holofcener film at Fox Searchlight. She’s also going to be repped by talent agency UTA.
She’s playing a girl named Chloe who grew up faster than her peers. Guess she won’t have to try too hard to get inspiration for that.
A print version of her Rookie site is coming this fall. Try not to take over the world too fast, Tavi.
