Farrah Abraham has admitted to using drugs in the past to deal with the heartache she was left with after her baby’s father, Derek Underwood, died in a car accident in 2008. In the latest issue of In Touch Weekly, she even revealed her plans for suicide, in addition to her cocaine and marijuana use. Now, a new report claims that Farrah is still using drugs — and topping it off with booze.
The Teen Mom star’s pal, Austin Mathouser, alleges that Farrah is now using Adderall, Xanax, and alcohol — a dangerous mix to say the least.
“When she was in Hollywood to celebrate her 21st birthday we partied at Geisha House and Kiss Lounge in Beso,” Austin told Radar Online. ”All throughout dinner and the club she talked about how she does Xanax and Adderall to stay up and energized. She frequented the bathroom that whole night taking them to stay up.”
Austin also claimed that all of that mixed together led to Farrah being a totally wasted, drugged up mess. ”She got very drunk. She was grabbing on guys and girls, and even hit one guy that didn’t want to dance with her,” Austin said. ”She got really sloppy and was throwing her drinks around and yelling.”
In addition to enhancing her partying, the friend claims that Farrah also uses drugs to cope with her hectic schedule. “Farrah said she does Adderall before every event that she attends,” Austin said.
Farrah’s rep was contacted by Radar Online but had “no comment.” In Farrah’s memoir, My Teenage Dream Ended, she claims to have kicked the habit and moved on — she even wrote a song. Hopefully she has. We’d hate to see Farrah go down the same road as her Teen Mom co-star Amber Portwood.
