Macaulay Culkin’s rep whipped out his hands-on-cheeks Home Alone face and was like, “oh no you didn’t,” to the recent report speculating heroin abuse (among other drugs) by said famous employer.
The bastion of truth and journalistic integrity that is the National Enquirer rounded up a couple of them there sources close to the star who told ‘em:
“I have witnessed his drug taking, which has escalated over the past year and a half to the point where he needs serious help.”
Annnnnnd:
“He’s been hooked for a year and a half, and his drug of choice is either heroin or oxycodone. He is surrounding himself with junkies and lowlifes. It’s a real tragedy.”
The impetus for all of this supposed drug abuse was said to be his break up with Mila Kunis, who’s now apparently dating Ashton Kutcher.
Well Mac’s camp says this a bunch of cheese and that his client is no drug sulkin’ Culkin. The statement adds that claims made against the 31-year-old are:
“not only categorically without merit, but it is also impossibly and ridiculously fictitious. We beseech the responsible media to consider the source and its reputation and to please not perpetuate this destructive and insulting story by pursuing it any further.”
Wait a minute. Macaulay Culkin is 31!?! Dude, we’re getting old.
