Tamra Barney responds to Vicki Gunvalson on Facebook after Bravo edits her blog

Fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County are currently in limbo, suspended between dramatic episodes of a two-part Season 7 Reunion Special, but that doesn’t mean the drama has stopped! Vicki Gunvalson had some rather harsh things to say about former bestie Tamra Barney on her Bravo blog, and Tamra later responded with her own blog entry – which was then edited by Bravo, with lots of the Vicki retorts cut out!

We all know Tamra is gonna say what she wants to say (the only thing she’ll let someone cut out of hers are her implants!), and that’s exactly what she did by posting her censored responses on her Facebook wall earlier today! Cue ring girl. And… DING! DING!

My blog is up! Bravo removed my comments about Vicki’s nasty comments about me in her blog this week. They asked me to save it for next week. … as you know I do not have patience so here is what I have to add:

Here are a couple comments from Vicki’s Blog I would like to address:

“We went to Mexico together to celebrate my birthday and Eddie’s birthday months prior to the media exposing Brooks, and we told them our fears of introducing Brooks to the world. They both encouraged us and said we would show everyone our new boyfriends and to show how happy we both were”

This is a straight up LIE and Eddie has the text messages to prove it. Eddie went to lunch with Brooks before we started filming and told him that with all the recent stuff in the press about his child support issues that it would NOT be a good idea for him to film. Truth is Brooks did not like that comment and said that vicki could not be authentic if he was not there to film with her. Eddie told him he thought it was a bad idea considering his past, but he wanted too, to film very little and to keep out of the drama like he did.

“I would question Tamra, if Eddie didn’t have any money would you still be with him? I doubt it. Furthermore, Tamra does not work and it would be very difficult for her to support her three young children with no child support, Eddie. To say money doesn’t matter to Tamra, is being a ‘hypocrite.’ Oops. . .did I say that?”

First off, the love me and Eddie share is magical. We both feel like the luckiest people in the world to have found each other. Eddie is the most loyal, loving, caring, compassionate, understanding, patient and motivating man I know, that is what makes him successful in my eyes and that Is why I love him so deeply. I am not a person that can be bought, I have worked hard my whole life to keep my self afloat, I am a survivor! I declined to ever receive alimony because I am capable of making my own money and don’t beleive that any ex should have to pay for their ex’s “life style”.

I have several contracts and endorsement deals, (one that I just signed today and can’t wait to share) I am opening a fitness studio with my OWN money, I’m raising 3 kids, I work for Bravo and NEWS ALERT…. We launched a very successful company called WWW.winesbywives.com…. remember that company? The one that I am working my ass off while you sit on yours! The one that I am marketing the hell out of and bringing 10 times more money then you are! How dare you take such a cheap shot and don’t you ever question my love for Eddie. I hope one day you have half as much love in your life.

Vicky is a idiot!!! Brooks shouldnt be getting between two woman who have strong opinions! He is trying to get her to cut everyone off. He should not have been on the show knowing what a loser he is. Anyway, Vicky is going ti regret what she is doing and going to need her friends to overcome what Brooks is doing to her. There is no worse feeling than being used by a man. Words are cheap!! Any man who leaves his children behind is scum!!! I must say, Slade seems like a great Dad from what I saw when he was with his children. His job situation changed and he could no lOonger afford the same payments. At least that seems to me what was happening but Vicki bashed him every chance she got. Who the hell is she? Oh yeah, she a hypocrite!!!!!!! Tamra may be harsh but she says it like it is!!! Go Tamra and Vicki should not compare Eddie to Brooks!!! Big difference between the two men!!!

If you are going to give press to Tamra’s reply to Vicki’s blog, perhaps you should also give some press to Simon’s reaction to Tamra’s lies on the reunion. Also, I read Tamra’s Bravo Blog. She says she had remorse over being so hard on Alexis at the reunion and invite her to lunch and invited her to dinner that evening with the other girls, and Alexis declined. Yet, she still decided to offer wine glasses for $25 bucks that were tacky and said, “Jesus Juggs” on her winesbywives website. Real sincere, eh? Here is what Simon has to say about the reunion and he RARELY speaks out about the show or his ex:

When is enough, enough? After being bombarded w emails this week about things said and/or implied on the recent reunion show regarding me and my kids. I felt I should respond.

1st: It upsets me that my ex would bring up a personal private and confidential matter involving therapy with my kids, and then alter the facts of its purpose. The session she attended was set up weeks before she went to Bora Bora, and had nothing to do with her engagement.

2nd: She had already moved the kids into eddie’s house way before getting engaged. Not after as incorrectly stated.
3rd: I didn’t react badly or care about my ex getting engaged as stated on the show, I do however care what my kids feel and how things effect them. I put their well being as my first priority in life, and always will…..

  I’ve seen this particular post on other sites. Are you related to or dating Simon? btw: he was very actively involved in blogging prior to this time. He’s a very angry little man and his response is not so earth shattering. He may not have perceived “a bad reaction” (as Tamra stated) just like he didn’t think he was ever controlling. The audience saw his conduct differently than the way he did.

    We may all think Simon was controlling from what was portrayed on TV but remember there is editing. We don’t know what really caused their marriage to end, we weren’t in their marriage. Tamra is a taker and when things got difficult with money and Simon could no longer serve his purpose she pushed his buttons. She did this for the show so she could get sympathy for what she really wanted……her freedom. She doesn’t know how to be a friend, she back stabbed Vicki in prior seasons, which I don’t understand Vicki thinking this person was a friend EVER!! Vicki is very naive to the people around her, and Brooks is one of them. She is easily manipulated and it’s sad. She has a good heart and means well and was an easy target for a snake like Tamra. Tamara is sneaky and not trustworthy, she will side with anyone if it is for her self promotion. She calls Alexis a phony but she is the real phony.

      I am curious, has Vicki ever been filmed with her “real” friends that are not part of the Housewifery? She seems to keep her circle extremely limited: Briana, Tamra (BB = Before Brooks), Heather (a bit), her Coto insurance staff, her make up artist, her brother Billy. Has she any actual friends?

Well, well, well. Tamra strikes back. What else is new? I like Tamra and find her immensely funny. Vicki is a businesswoman who looked for love in all the wrong places. She didn’t find love. She found a con man who said and did what was necessary to satisfy her. Pinocchio isn’t even remotely attractive. It amazes me that Vicki swallows his lies and turns a blind EYE to his misdeeds. She hasn’t got a good poker face. Obviously, she is aware of his conduct, yet stubbornly clings to him as though he’s the last man on earth. Victory: he isn’t and you seem foolish standing by him when his dealings have been uncovered. Your book should be retitled, “Nothing More Than a Desperate Housewife”.

Way to go Tammy Sue! Vicky is doing the same thing she always does, pointing the finger at another to keep the light off of her and her greasy boyfriend! To say Tamra wouldn’t marry Eddie if he didn’t have money is low. Tamra turned down spousal support from Simon, if she was only concerned with money than she would have never divorced him in the first place. Vicki is just angry that Don is requesting spousal support, which by the way he deserves! Don supported her and her kids while she built her business and without him she would still be in the trailer park she was living in with her first husband! Eddie has been on the show for two seasons and I have yet to see a bad article printed about him, he genuinely seems to love Tamra and does not have to spill out quotes from Hallmark cards to prove it. Team Tamra! Simon had somebody going to news outlets selling stories about his divorce so he didn’t look like the bad guy. Tamra and Eddie haven’t done anything for me to question their honesty, so I believe them. Vickie is an ass for dating Brooks. She’s done nothing but criticize Slade for his child support issues yet she turns around and dates somebody 100x worse. At least Slade still SEES Greyson and is a father to him. Brooks can’t say that…..

I like Tamra. She tells the truth and even admits when she screws up, e.g. she told Herbert she threw her under the bus to prove your point. She’s always been that way.
Vicki, on the other hand, has changed completely. She said so many negative things about Simon and Slade and she would instigate fights between the couples. Now she’s dating, what I think is, a way worse version of Slade. His intentions are obviously bad and Vicki is willing to sacrifice everything for him. I don’t know her personally, but when her own daughter sees her changing, I believe it.

I can feel the anger Tamra has when shes responding to the comment that she’s with Eddie because of the money. Its because there is some truth in that statement. You can love someone and be very happy they have money at the same time.

Also, she didn’t get alimony because there wasn’t any money, and asking for it would drag out the process. You can’t get blood from a stone.

She’s not an independent survivor, she’s a very disillusioned woman, who should have fought for her marriage with the first guy.

I find it so funny how Tamra is so upset over this particular blog that vicki wrote about her. How many times has Tamra accused gretchen of being a goldigger, cheater, etc… Tamra is so quick to fire off shots against everyone else but it’s always a problem once someone says something about her. It was okay for her to say all of those nasty things about gretchen but it’s not okay for vicki to say anything back…..hmmm hypocrite perhaps. If Gretchen could forgive Tamra, She can forgive vicki. Vicki is honestly one of the biggest hypocrites I have ever witnessed on TV. She will run her mouth about everyone but gets angry when people do it right back.

  I agree; I’ve literally never seen anything like it in my entire life! And the amount of logical fallacies she uses whenever confronted is laughable! She’s also, by far, the absolute most insecure woman I’ve ever seen on television, on any show, even fictional characters, or anyone I’ve ever personally known. That’s why she freaks out over absolutely every tiny little thing, as that severe insecurity makes even perceived slights into major criticism in her twisted mind! A good example was when she and Tamra were bra shopping and Tamra made comments about Bri being pregnant and about Vicki’s new bra looking good, yet Vicki is so hyper-sensitive to any even possible slight, she automatically assumed with both positive comments that they were negative and she had an immediate negative attitude in response. She’s so bad, I’m actually very embarrassed for her!
