Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra head to New Orleans so Tyler can be an actor?

Teen Mom couple Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra are heading to New Orleans where they will be living for the next month — and they are taking their little doggies, too! What are they doing in New Orleans, you ask? Tyler is going to be pursuing his dreams of becoming an actor!

“Tomorrow heading to New Orleans for a month!” Tyler tweeted Saturday . “YEAHHH BUDDY! #starting#somethingnew;)” On Sunday, he tweeted, “A long 587 miles to Tennessee, then another 8 hours to New Orleans!” He even posted a photo of his dog laying down in the back seat of their vehicle!

While promoting Teen Mom last month, Catelynn had told press, “Tyler wants to get into acting. We are going to New Orleans this summer for Tyler to act. He feels like he should go and succeed in it.” Catelynn and Tyler have yet to tell fans what kind of acting Tyler will be doing. What would you like to see Tyler in? A movie? TV show?

Tyler is surely not putting all of his eggs in the acting basket! He is currently studying to get his bachelor’s in social work to help at-risk youth. Catelynn also has a great career goal — she wants to be a pregnancy counselor. She also has been working with Weight Watchers and has shed some unwanted pounds. We love how motivated this Teen Mom couple is! We are sure Tyler and Catelynn will both be successful in whatever they chose to do.

While we wait for Tyler’s acting debut, be sure to tune in to see him and Catelynn in Teen Mom‘s final season every Tuesday night at 10/9c on MTV. The couple also plans to wed next summer!

he would be a good doctor or a pscychologist or a teacher. he should be support other people with his work because he is a very good guy with a good and clever heart.

So are both of them active college students? I’d really be happy to see them power thru and finish school!

  I hope it is just for the summer as well. They are going to one of those higher priced private colleges with few admission requirments..I would see hate to see them get stuck with lots of loans or wasting the mtv money and not getting a degree. As it stands now even if they graduated from the college they are attending both would need additional college/training to become a social worker or counseler. I would love to see them get those careers and help people but it will take alot of hard work and years of training. In alot of states social workers and liscenced counselers spend as much time as dentists and some types of doctors in school and training.

  You know they actually graduated high school, unlike the majority of their peers in the show who just got their GED (if even that…). I don’t think you need to worry about their education. They’ve already gone above and beyond what most in their situation have done.

i love the show i cant stand catelynn and what’s Tyler they are annoying the think they are smart and try act like they are grown up but all they dude is basked in fame and for what a child they don’t have and don’t get me wrong there nothing wrong with adoption i think they did a good thing giveing her up i did cry but then all they do a wine and grown a bout carly like oh my god shut up get over and live ur lives and stop tying to be big shots like they are trying to keep up with the other teens moms they repeat what other people say when trying to hold a conversation like they are trying to be half way intelligent and it wouldn’t get on my nerves as much if they would learn to hay yea or uh hu more expand ur vocabulary and here a another thing get over ur selves ur nothing special all u are is a another Illiterateeen who fucked ur step sister and had a child. sorry iv been holding that in for a very long time. I feel a lot better
