Is Vicki Gunvalson getting along with daughter Briana now?

Vicki Gunvalson’s relationship with her daughter Briana has always been a bit of a power struggle. Vicki loves to be in control and sometimes is a bit too involved in Briana’s life. Upon hearing that Briana had ran off to Vegas and gotten married, Vicki kind of lost it. Their relationship became strained. Plus, Briana is extremely sceptical of Vicki’s relationship with boyfriend Brooks Ayers which has made it even more difficult for these two to get along.

“My anger and my disappointment at what Briana did almost destroyed our relationship,” Vicki told Star of Briana’s elopement. “We didn’t speak for two months. But time heals, and our relationship is stronger than ever.”

After filming wrapped on Real Housewives of Orange County‘s seventh season, tensions subsided. Briana and her mother put the past behind them and came together to plan Briana and Ryan Culberson’s formal ceremony which took place last month in Santa Barbara. “My mom has been amazing. It’s been really fun planning the wedding with her and just having her by my side,” Briana said at the time.

Vicki and Briana have one more thing to celebrate together — Briana is pregnant! Briana and Ryan will welcome their baby boy in just a few months! The O.G. of the O.C. is going to be a grandmother! What brings people closer than a baby?

Vicki and her boyfriend Brooks are still together and going strong — no word on if Briana’s relationship with him has gotten better, but we’re sure to find out during season 8 of Real Housewives of Orange County!

I think it despicable that Vicki remarries Don in Turks & Caicos, and then not a year later blindsides him and says she wants a divorce. This supposed fame that she has attained on this rag of a show has gone to her head and this new bottomfeeder, Brooks seized the moment. This man comes out of nowhere, basically. Vicki said he had been an associate of sorts, however I don’t believe it. In any event, he shows up, with two mysterious children Vicki has yet to see, a house she has yet to go to, and he’s driving her car with missing teeth. Open your eyes Vicki, he’s hardly a catch. This is a very successful woman, however she’s already been through two divorces. Does she really think this guy is genuine. Wake up, your not an eighteen year old girl. Don’t be incredibly stupid. Send him packing. Your daughter is very intuitive. I agree with her implicitly.

Vickie has no say to anything Brianna is doing considering her own pitiful sad behavior. Besides she treats Brianna like she is 15 years old.

When mothers choose to control their daughters they damage their relationship and lose their daughters respect and love. Its a sad waste of a relationship of the mothers and daughters life.

It may do Vickie good to see a therapist cause something isn’t right with her and probably has been for a very long time.

  I agree. Vicki needs to get off the show…get some mental help…and ditch Brooks the Swamp Creep! Briana is awesome….just shows you can turn out great even if your mom is batshit crazy!
