Recently The National Enquirer, you know the publication-land of alien abductions etc, published a story stating that Disney vet Raven-Symone is gay. The story caught fire and hit the Twitterverse with Raven’s name being a top trend for quite some time.
Just to set the table here’s part of what was said about Symone:
“Raven has lost almost 30 pounds, has done a whole image makeover, and now she is the star of ‘Sister Act’ on Broadway. She’s at a point now where she doesn’t care what her family thinks, and she’s in love with AzMarie. She’s a lesbian and wants to live that way.”
That’s so Raven used to mean a little psychic two snaps and a circle for Symone but now that she’s a grown woman who’s matured with grace and charm from her Disney days being so Raven means telling this tabloid to freakin’ shove it. Raven took to Twitter and had the following things to say in response to the rumors swirling around her:
She neither acknowledged or denied the rumors which is exactly the point. It’s her business and if she just so happens to be gay Raven-Symone will let us all know of her own volition. Now that’s so Raven!
