Brandi Glanville puts Giuliana Rancic on blast after ‘nuts’ diss

We have ourselves a complicated triangle of celeb dissing here involving Beverly Hills Housewife cast member Brandi Glanville, Giuliana Rancic and LeAnn Rimes. Let’s see if we can sort all of this out.

Rancic and Glanville have both previously shunned LeAnn Rimes after Brandi’s ex-husband, actor Eddie Cibrian, cheated on Brandi with LeAnn, eventually leaving the former for the latter. In a recent episode of Fashion Police, Rancic turned coats and let Brandi have it after the subject of bikini attention hoarder LeAnn and cheater Eddie renewing their vows was brought up for discussion.

Here’s the clip:

Giuliana had the following to say about Brandi:

“I use to totally poo-poo this relationship (Eddie and LeAnn’s), and then I watched his ex-wife on the Real Housewives. She is nuts.”

This burn was brought to Brandi’s attention and she fired back with the following tweet that she has since deleted:

“It’s sad cuz I’ve been rooting 4her through her illness. Hopefully her man doesn’t leave her & give her surrogate baby to a bonus mom.”

If you’re not familiar with Rancic’s story she and her husband have long tried to have a baby and this process was further complicated when the she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Recently she announced the good news that she and hubby Bill are expecting via a gestational carrier.

Brandi has followed up with a few tweets attempting to defend her response:

Do what do you think? Did Brandi go to far with her retaliation tweet or did she have the right to defend herself in the wake of being the victim of a very public cheating scandal?

  Leann and Giuliana are friends, so all Giuliana proved is that LEANN RIMES is feeding information about Brandi to EVERYONE. Giuliana lied, her change of heart had nothing to do with Brandi or THROBH. Remember, Leann threw a twitter tantrum, Giuliana backtracked, Giuliana and Leann met for drinks, and then Leann gave an interview to the Associated Press about how she is happy that people(ie-implying Guilana Rancic) know the truth about her affair with Eddie. Guiliana looks even worse because why would she us The Fashion Police as an agenda for Leann to get back at Brandi? Look at the timing of Guiliana’s comment. It comes right when Eddie and Brandi are having a dispute over the boys being on her show. Yeah, Leann and Guiliana definately had an agenda. It’s sad that the media bought into Guiliana’s lie, it’s not like the media didn’t know that she had met with Leann, Leann made sure that every media outlet knew about her meeting with Guiliana. So why didn’t the media call Guiliana out of attacking Brandi?

Nah. I don’t think she went too far. Why is it too far? To say, well, I hope you are never in my situation? Since you are judging so easily? How is that horrible? Is it horrible because pregnancy is a sensitive topic for Giuliana? Well, I would imagine the whole issue of finding out your partner of 13 years was having an affair while you were home with your two kids is a sensitive topic for Brandi, too. It’s interesting to note that GR blasted Leann Rimes, LR freaked out, snarked back at her on twitter, then arranged a lunch between them. Now Giuliana is Team Leann? Wonder what LR said during that lunch. Did she play BG’s voicemails to Eddie like she does for her twitter fans? Whatever the case, GR blamed an affair on the stay-at-home mom in the situation, said something bitchy, and was blasted back. Big deal. If you dish it out, deal with it when the person responds back.

Brandi was right on. GR is having a baby via surrogate, hence her surrogate baby comment. GR basically said that EC cheated because Brandi was crazy. Wrong! GR owes Brandi an apology, don’t judge her based on a tv show. Leann acts like an immature child, constantly setting up photo ops to change her image #notworking. She is taunting it in Brandi’s face that she stole her man and has her kids, too. It is Leann who is crazy!

Anyone has the “right” to defend themselves. I think Giuliana (seriously, with that spelling?) hit below the belt. She was basically saying “I see why your husband left you…” its not like Brandi said back to her “I see why you can’t have children”, she simply pointed out the fact that anyone’s husband can up and leave. Go Giuliana! Brandy IS nuts! And for her to bring up Giuliana & Bill’s CHILD after everything they’ve been through and go on and on about the comment- just proved how nuts she really is. She wants the sympathy card, and she probably could’ve gotten it had she not played out the whole affair to the media still to this day. It happened, it’s over, move on. If she wants to bring children into the mix- why not think of her OWN children, how humiliating it must be for their mother to continue to sell herself to the media. Things in life happen that you don’t plan and you don’t agree with, but deal with it and move on. If she’s never going to get over being bitter about the whole thing, she’s never going to be able to move on from it. Girl needs THERAPY.

      Don’t you think it’s odd that Guiliana made no mention of the fact that she and Leann are friends and that she sat down with Leann in October to discuss her side of the affair? A normal person would have done just that? But not Guiliana. Why? Why did she think The Fashion Police was the time and place to go after Brandi? It’s sorta sad because it just goes to show what Brandi is working with when dealing with Leann. That at any moment Leann can call in a favor and then someone like Guiliana goes after Brandi.

Why isn’t any of the media outlets calling Guilana out for lying? Everyone remembers that she stopped dissing Eddie and Leann AFTER she had a sit down meeting with Leann and it had absolutely nothing to do with Brandi or RHOBH. So Guilana’s opinions of Brandi are not based on what she saw on RHOBH, but based on what LEANN RIMES told Guilana over their drinks in October. This was just another obvious attempt by Leann to use her friendship to bully Brandi, look at the timing of Guiliana’s comment. The media should be reprimanding Leann for using Guliana to do her dirty work.

This is the REAL reason why Guilana felt the need to trash talk Brandi.

Giuliana Rancic on Meeting With LeAnn Rimes: We “Put This Whole Fiasco Behind Us”(October 2011)

The only thing wasting away here is the rumor that LeAnn Rimes and Giuliana Rancic are at odds.

“@GiulianaRancic My sweets….so amazing to talk to you over drinks. I adore you! You are beautiful and we were meant to meet for a reason ,” Rimes tweeted Tuesday night after hanging out with the E! News anchor.

But it didn’t go down quite like you may have read…The ladies did not powwow at Nobu in West Hollywood, despite a RadarOnline report that they broke bread, er, sushi at the upscale eatery. Rimes was photographed there, but Rancic exclusively tells us that’s where the country singer went for dinner after their drinks date.

“We actually met for drinks at a different location beforehand,” Rancic said. “I’m happy we finally got together and put this whole fiasco behind us. We had a really nice time and I hope to see her again soon.”

And Rimes had nothing but glowing reviews for Rancic, despite briefly taking offense in August at a remark the Giuliana & Bill star made about Rimes being “a little thin right now.”

I see nothing wrong with what Brandi said. If that Giuliana woman wants to bring people down then you have to expect it to come back and bite you in the butt! It’s wrong to blame someone for being cheated on. How can anyone say “Your husband left you because you were nuts”. If the husband was a good man then he would have worked it out with his wife and if in the end it could not be salvaged then you LEAVE the person, you don’t CHEAT.

Although what Brandi said was a bit harsh, she didn’t need to mention “surrogate”, she is right though. Until you are a mother and until someone does to you what is being done to Brandi, you just don’t know. I would never want some affair that my ex husband decided to marry to have access to my kids. No self respecting woman would.

Brandi had the right to stand up for herself. Giuliana made it sound as if because Brandi may be a smidge crazy that it made it alright for her husband to cheat on her. I am sorry but I don’t care how crazy a woman is it doesn’t give a man (or a woman if it is vice versa) to cheat. Eddie could have been a REAL man and told Brandi he didn’t want to be with her anymore before he started sleeping with another woman. All Brandi did was tell Giuliana that she hopes something like that doesn’t happen to her, especially now that a child will be involved. Sure she could have done it in a kinder way, but she still had every right to stand up for herself.

Guiliana Rancic is an entitled, whiny bitch. I think Brandi’s response was perfect; given the entire situation.

After all, Guiliana didn’t necessarily see having a baby as a necessity; Bill does. Guiliana tried so hard to get pregnant FOR Bill. I think she knew Bill wanted kids and she might get left if she didn’t produce one. Brandi should’ve been a lot more harsh -Guiliana is a nothing/nobody on E! news (which isn’t even news half the time). I’d much rather watch Joel McHale that Guiliana’s “everyone please pity me” act.

  I felt horrible when Guiliana was diagnosed with cancer, but the baby thing I can’t feel bad for her over. On their show the doctor told her to gain weight and she didn’t do it so she didn’t get pregnant. If she wanted a baby that badly she would have taken the steps to gaining weight like the doctor said so that her body had a better chance of getting pregnant.
  I get tired of hearing her sob story when it comes to having a baby.
