Comedian Martin Lawrence and his wife have decided to end their marriage.

Here is the rep’s official statement made to People:

“Martin and Shamicka Lawrence have decided to divorce. The couple has made the joint decision to part ways.”

The couple were an item for a whopping 15 years before finally tying the knot back in 2010 at their Beverly Hills home. Martin, who just wrapped up a successful nationwide sold-out stand-up tour, made a joint statement along with Shamicka:

“Out of love and respect for one another we will continue to remain friends and raise our two beautiful daughters [ Amara (2001) and Iyana (2003) ] together.”

Martin has had some wild streaks in him so it’s good to read that he plans on working with Shamicka on raising their children.
