Octomom being investigated for child neglect

Nadya Suleman, known in pop culture circles as Octomom, is currently under investigation for child neglect by the La Habra Police Department and the Orange County Dept. of Family and Children’s Services.

The officials arrived at her home last night based on a complaint made by her hairstylist who is claiming that the mother of 14 is allowing to let said kids live in squalid conditions. Yes. Her hairstylist felt compelled to call the cops.

Here are some of the things stylist Stephanie claimed she found at the home:

-> the plumbing is a disaster … there is only one working toilet in the house
-> the kids appear malnourished and unbathed
-> some of the kids are pooping on portable training toilets located in their bedrooms and in the backyard
-> she observed Nadya locking her kids in a bedroom while she tended to personal matters
-> the house is filthy

A police officer and 3 reps with FCS checked out the premises for about an hour-and-a-half before leaving. Based on this initial review they didn’t feel as if the kids were in danger but stated that the investigation is ongoing.

TMZ obtained pics from the home that included showing two of the children defecating in training toilets in the backyard. Also there’s one of Nadya with her hair done while her kids were confined in a bedroom by propping a chair against the door so they couldn’t get out.

Here’s a video of Stephanie explaining why she felt it was necessary to contact the authorities.

The stylist said, “The kids are in desperate need of help, and I tried to help and she’s not open to anyone helping her.”

I feel like 14 kids is too much for a single mother; however, what is the problem with kids pooping in training pottys?? I have 3 kids and I always had training pottys at close access to my kids when they were potty training. They are meant to have pee and poop in them and as long as you dump it out and clean em when they’re done then I don’t see a problem with that? And it’s great that she even has them outside! I did the same thing as well so minimize accidents when the kids were outside playing! Who wants pee and poop all over the floors?? sounds like the stylist is jus tryin to get some tabloid interviews out of this…it’s a quick $ maker!

Octo Mom? Is her face melting or what? Her face looks like the joker just opened up the Ark of the Covenant. And people are shocked that she would drop $500 on a haircut. I read something else that said she was on Welfare. Nothing warms the heart more than to know your hard earned money is going to fund fertility drugs haloween quality plastic surgery and $500 haircuts. Maybe she could spend some of those welfare checks on pants for the kids or how about renting a porto potty like respectable rednecks?

Why is everyone being so hard on the Octomom here? It’s none of their business. Hair HAS to be done. She has a career as a model and she has to keep up her appearance to keep her job. Someone has to feed the 19 kids she has. Obviously the welfare checks aren’t enough. The economy is terrible right now and expecting someone to actually get a job is just crazy talk. I’m a homeless man and I have 2 kids and 3 dogs who’s supposed to pay for them? ME!? I don’t think so. I wish I could meet the Octomom because I think we would make a beautiful couple because I too am a model. People don’t realize that models took the hardest hit when the economy went south. Are we supposed to let ourselves go? NO we are humans and if we want to get our hair done and our face adjusted who are you to say no. This is as American as apple pie. We’re supposed to look out for eachother during tough times not look down on people because they traded their food stamps for a bikini wax. This is supposed to be America. AMERICA LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT!

Octomom? Whaz that? When I first read this story I thought this woman had somehow given birth to an octopus. That’s scarry because those things have beaks and giving birth to one would hurt like heck fire and brimstone. The I find out that she didn’t give birth to an octopus at all not even a squid. I think squidmom has a better ring to it anyway. Either way this woman is a sham. Squids and Octopuses can’t use spray paint either. So it obviously wasn’t an inveribrate that spray painted all those colorful messages on the octo home I’m pretty sure it was her kids. Then I read some other link and she has like 18 human kids. 18 goat kids are a lot to take care of and they can’t even spray paint either. I’m actually glad to hear about all this stuff. Seems like good news to me. (I usually blame bad news on the president. I think I’ll start blaming good news on the octomom. Seems logical)

hair does not have to be “done”. what’s wrong with a trip to cost cutters for a $15 hair cut? when you have 14 kids and can’t pay your bills, you have no business paying $520 to get your hair done.
this has been a sad situation from day one. it’s clear she has no control over her children. if she were organized and attentive, her house would be clean and not trashed out.
she needs help badly.

thats a lovely friend that would say all that on camera for the hole world to see. i would think if she really was her friend and was worried about the kids she would just call the police and be done with it. why does she feel the need to tell TMZ?? and you don’t need to spend that much money on a hair cut. why doesn’t she cut her hair at a cheaper price?? and if that’s because it’s the salons price then offer for her to go to your house to get it done. since your friends and all i don’t see why she couldn’t cut her a deal if she has money problems. and i don’t think she has money problems, i think she has priority problems.
