For the most part I’m a fan of Miley Cyrus the person. She’s survived the crushing grinder of the Disney star making machine and she’s matured into a young woman with a head on her shoulders and a distinct sense of self identity. But…
I gots to give my girl a little bit of a hard time, or perhaps credit, after doing what appears to be some serious attention seeking, or at least cross promotion by posting up a Twit-pic featuring a massive rock on that most important of fingers while discussing nails. She then appeared out and about wearing the same girl’s-best-friend at a Saturday event.
As would be predicted, this had everyone speculating that the young star had become engaged to her Hunger Games hunk Liam Hemsworth but the latest reports say, “Not so much.” Here’s the picture that Miley tweeted about her “nails.”
Do we even notice a hand? None-the-less here is the topic that Miley referenced in relation to this pic. “I am soooo obsessed with @jennahipp nail foundations! It looks so chic and classic!” Nail foundations, not sure if that’s what she’s promotin’ here. I mean, what about that bling!?!
In spite of all the speculating sources with US Weekly claim that this rock is not an engagement ring.
The top photo is of Miley out and about at Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night XIII at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix on Saturday proudly sporting this same ring. It should be mentioned that she wasn’t scared to put it out there for the photogs.
Hey, Miley has the right to wear what she wants and maybe it’s good for her to use the tabloid and blog (pointing finger at self) circles to her own advantage. Want to help sell some nail foundations? Put a big old chunk of stone on that finger and peeps will notice.
