In the second episode of The Shahs of Sunset, Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi needs a new bathing suit for the trip to Vegas for Reza Farahan’s birthday. So, who could possibly be better than Reza himself to go along with GG shopping for the perfect Persian bikini?

It turns out that there are very specific requirements for Persian bikinis. First, gold is good. But, too much gold, especially if it jingles around, will make you look like the wrong kind of Persian (i.e. Asa), and it is important to get it off your body immediately.

Some bikini’s, though, can’t go on your Persian body at all! Namely those made of plaid material or embellished with frills. (According to Reza, they’re for white people.) The perfect bikini, in this case, turned out to be neither gold, nor frilly, but a lovely little purple model:

Omg, soooooooooo hot. I wish Bay Area Persian girls were like the LA ones.

Not toned at all. Horrible personality, hopefully it’s scripted.

Yea and she called anita boney? She needs to put down the naan because she doesn’t look persian and acts like a B. Her face is annoying and her voice is worse. I agree dorsia horrible personality when her 15 minutes of fame are up no respectable man will want to “bank roll” her life she’s ghetto, classless and isn’t attractive. She’s like a flea. Why does ryan seacrest always bring the trashiest of people to portray a culture ie: armenians and the whoredasians, now this. I guess he needed a beverly hillbilly version of jersey shore.

I wonder if Kim (previous comment) ever has anything nice to say about anything! I doubt it! Sounds like a jealous girl.

Nothing you see on TV represents anything real, haven’t you figured out it’s all entertainment by now?

I think Golnesa is a funny character. I actually like her. I like them all. I’m sure they are much different when the cameras aren’t rolling, so just take their characters for what they are: CHARACTERS. This is a TV show meant to entertain, not inform.

Persian culture isn’t like this. They are Sunsetians.
