Snooki admits she’s pregnant and engaged exclusively to US Weekly; freaked out about drinking during first trimester

The New York Post‘s report about Snooki lying about not being pregnant was dead-on. She reveals her baby bump on the cover of US Weekly this week, and admits that she’s pregnant and engaged (click here to see Snooki sporting her engagement ring!)

Snooki also told the magazine that she’s a changed Snooks, and that the Jersey Shore-style partying is in her past.

“I have different priorities now.I don’t care what anybody else thinks. As long as I know I’m ready and he’s ready.”

Baby daddy Jionni also added, “We are not going to screw this up.”

Snooki found out about the pregnancy right after she partied really hard in Vegas for New Year’s. She was upset about the drinking when she learned about the pregnancy, but she’s been a good girl ever since. Snooks even refused a beverage on Andy Cohen’s booze-fueled Watch What Happens Live (at the time she was denying a correct report from Star magazine that she was pregnant. She claimed she was dieting, but that was the same stunt Kim Zolciak pulled on the show while she was waiting for her Life & Style exclusive to break.

Snooki told US Weekly that she lied to her fans about the pregnancy because she didn’t want to break the cardinal rule of only telling your closest friends and relatives during the first three months in case something goes wrong. “It was my business, and I wasn’t ready to tell.” Snooki has a point there.

We’re excited to see Snooki on this new journey, and it will be fun to watch Snooki “grow up” on camera with her new show with Jwoww.

I wish them well. I partied a lot before I got pregnant but I stopped and am a great mom. I just hope they don’t try to turn this into a new show.

Why should someone’s comment be deleted? If that’s their opinion, then fine. Not everyone is going to wish them well….its part of being a public figure who’s done some really shameful things on camera that were broadcasted to all of America. Such is life!
Personally, I don’t care either way. Its surprising news I guess, but good for them if that’s what they wanted.

If u have nothing good to say then dont say anything at all. Snooki isnt my favorite reality tv star but what she does with her life is up to her. I hope she does stop with the drinking after she gives birth.

Babies change people…I know that for a fact. She’ll be fine. Just because someone parties doesn’t mean they’ll be a terrible parent. More often than not, when they find out, they quit. Like I said, it changes you. Parties become unimportant, and the baby becomes your world. I’m happy for her!

If she found out in late December/early January, that’s a big bump for 3 months! I know everyone is different, but it seems like they made her stick out her belly or photoshopped a bump! I’m 17 weeks and nowhere near that bump.

I think she could be a great Mom, despite her partying past. She wasn’t doing lines of cocaine- she was drinking and being silly. That was what she was getting paid to do! People wouldn’t watch the Jersey Shore if they were just sitting around on their laptops or watching television all day.

I hope she realizes her career on “The Jersey Shore” as it is, is done. I don’t watch the show, but partying and a constant partying atmosphere is not the place for a child. I wish her the best, and hope if she does stay on TV, she takes a route that involves better, more mature subject matter than barfights and being really really wasted all the time.
