Britney Spears might be an X-Factor judge! Louis Walsh says the pop star is in talks with the show

Lots of big deal pop star names are being bandied about to join the judges panel on the American X-Factor (including Whitney Houston, who Simon Cowell he was considering before her death) and now it looks like there’s a serious chance that Britney Spears might do the show.

Janet Jackson and Fergie are also believed to be considered, but it’s been confirmed that Britney is definitely in talks! I have to admit, if Britney takes the gig, I’ll definitely be watching next season. I’m super curious to see how she’ll handle the situation, and it would probably boost ratings for the show, and boost interest in Britney herself. Win-Win.

Louis Walsh, a judge on the U.K.’s X Factor spilled the beans about Britney on Craig Doyle Live:

“I don’t know. OK, I think I’ll be back, I think Gary will be back. I think Tulisa will be back. Dermot’s definitely back! I’m not sure about Kelly. I’m not sure. No-one is contracted guys. I loved Nicole Scherzinger.”
