Super producer John Legend was on the hot seat playing “Plead the Fifth” when his chivalrous nature forced him to plead the fifth on the very first question, which was to reveal something embarrassing about his fiancee, super model Chrissy Teigen. Chrissy, who was also in the clubhouse, let out a big “awwwww” and gave her man a smooch.
But as you know, John’s cop out in the first round meant he had to answer the next two questions and Andy Cohen pulled no punches with question number two:
Andy: Who is the most overrated musician working today? You already plead the fifth.
Chrissy: Can I answer?
Andy: No!
John: Ummmmmmmmmmmm… Ke$ha.
Chrissy covered her mouth with both hands in shocked disbelief…
That’s not just some internet hater y’all, that’s John Legend! Ouch!
Later in the telecast a caller asked John and Chrissy “What do you think about the Chris Brown and Rihanna duet?”
John got a bit of a worried look and declined to answer, but Chrissy literally raised her hand and said, “I would like to speak.” John then squeaked out, “Uh, I don’t have any thoughts about it.”
Chrissy did though! She unleashed a bit by saying, “I absolutely think it’s terrible. I’m sorry, but that’s just me speaking. John cannot because he is in the music realm, but I am not, so I’m more than happy to say I think it’s terrible.”
I think Chrissy and Rihanna need to have a celebrity bikini-off to settle this before things get out of hand!
