Kim and Khloe Kardashian may be sued over weight loss drug QuickTrim, which is basically Kaffeine pills

Sometimes Keeping up With the Kardashians equals Keeping up with the Klass-Action Lawsuits.

The New York Post says Kim and Khloe Kardashian are facing a potential lawsuit from Bursor & Fisher law firm, which is preparing a suit against Windmill Health Products, the fitness company the family struck a deal with in 2009. (Mom Kris and sister Kourtney also participated in promoting QuickTrim, but they’re zeroing in on Kim and Khloe because they both reported losing 15 lbs on the drug.)

The firm’ case seems to revolve around the fact that QuickTrim’s “secret” ingredient is a large amount of caffeine.

“The active ingredient in QuickTrim weight loss products is a large dose of caffeine . . . The FDA has determined that caffeine is not safe or effective for weight loss.”

Partner Stephen A. Bursor told The Post:

“My firm has been retained by an individual that purchased QuickTrim, and we are investigating the matter. We have provided written notice of our client’s claims to the company and others involved in marketing QuickTrim,” and his firm is reaching out to other QuickTrim users. Bursor & Fisher has won or settled cases against firms peddling products including hair loss remedy Avacor and diet supplement Xenadrine.”

So basically, taking QuickTrim is like chugging black coffee or sugar-free Redbull, and the FDA does not approve caffeine as a valid weight-loss drug. If you have some caffeine, it can actually increase your appetite; and if you have too much, your appetite might go away, but you could end up with heart palpitations, dehydration, and a Klassic Kase of the Kaffeine Krazies.

The lawsuit is has not been filed yet. Last June (2011) the Kardashians had a $75 million case against them dismissed over a controversial credit card partnership that they walked away from. There have also been reports for months that jilted fairytale-husband Kris Humphries is planning to sue Kim or Kris Jenner over their controversial August wedding. Still no official details on that.

But all that aside, do y’all think Kim and Khloe should be sued over hawking caffeine pills as diet pills?

Well, I was sucked into the Quick Trim world a year ago and it was horrible! The first part was just something that made me poop all the time and the second part made me talk to myself and twitch like a crazy woman. If they get sued I want my part, because that experience sucked.

So they were basically taking QuickTrim and starving themselves…Are they even still promoting QuickTrim? Because the above pic was taken a long time ago it appears they now have both gained back the 15 lbs.

They both look like burned turkey bacon lol! Looks like Khloe’s head on someone elses body. Clearly u can tell that this is photoshopped because everyone knows that Khloe TOWERS over her sisters and here in this pic they look the same height. smh lol. ps. I definently know its photoshopped, y is khloe standing on her tippy toes and yet just slighly taller than Kim lol. Doesnt make any sense. I cANT with his family.

  She isn’t standing on her tippy toes, it’s the pose she’s doing. Her one leg is like that, not the other. It’s a pose most of the girls I know do lol, try it you’ll see you aren’t any taller.

    I agree, Khloe towers over her sisters. This is photoshopped. The position of her foot doesn’t add height, but she is still about 6 inches taller than Kim. The face is also a different color than her body, could be make up but, seeing as how she has money, I think that she will have powder that matches her skin tone.

Lesson learned. From this point forward, no one should purchase ANYTHING that the Kartrashians endorse! Their Sears clothes are cheap, and are always on the clearance rack. The shoe-of-the-month club Kim endorses, are cheap. Do you think she’d be caught dead in $39.99 shoes? And now diet pills? Obviously they’ve gained their weight back. Their doctors prob told them the pills were unsafe for them, but ok to hock to the public. When is America going to learn? These people are scam artists! It’ll be a matter of time that KJ’s new vagina lube or WTF it is, sets someone’s KitKat on fire or their partner’s hotdog link to go numb! Just wait n see!
