I’m counting down the days to the premiere of The History Channel’s Pawn Stars southern spin-off Cajun Pawn Stars. If you haven’t had the opportunity to meet the show’s star, Jimmie “Big Daddy” DeRamus, yet I encourage you to do so in our profile here.
The fine folks with the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame have been kind enough to provide a video of the first extended promo for the show. In the following clip you get to see Jimmie and his family staff do two things you don’t see every day. First they head off site to see about a request a man has to pawn his goats. Yes, I said goats and Jimmie is open to anything if it’s legal and got value.
The second thing, which I wrote about previously, is the half-a-million dollar offer Jimmie makes for some ultra-rare $5,000 and $10,000 U.S. bank notes. Yep, I said $500,000 for some old money. Just to test you, who appears on the face of the $10,000 bill? Yeah, I had no idea either but forget all these songs about Benjamins, because Frankliny it’s all about dem Salmons for Jimmie D.!
That would be Salmon P. Chase on the $10,000 bill while Mr. James Madison rocks out on the $5,000 bill.
